Full list of players released by clubs, we're second on the list. there's a few 'old boys' lean#ving other clubs as well. http://www.people.co.uk/sport/tm_ob...30-thrown-on-premier-scrapheap-name_page.html
Not sure where they got that list from. For one, they list Jay-Jay Okocha as being released. However, on the League Manager Association (LMA) site, they have story about him signing a new contract... http://www.leaguemanagers.com/news/4622/SAM+DELIGHTED+THAT+JAY-JAY+WILL+STAY.html\" Makes me a little suspect of the entire list since Jay-Jay's signing was pretty widely known. As for the Arsenal players, they are all still listed as on roster at Arsenal.com. They may well be right with most of these, but I'd wait until I hear it from the club before I believe it.
Footballers contracts run to 30 June, and this is a list of players with contracts to 30 June 2004 who have not signed new contracts. Of course Okocha is an error, and there may be others, but I think the list is mostly correct, The players are employed by their old clubs until the end of this month, but they won't be reporting for work with them again.
Now it's official. Arsenal.com has a list of the released players... http://www.arsenal.com/article.asp?...Arsenal+Football+Club+-+Released+players+list The only (small) surprise for me was seeing Michal Papadopulos on the list. He seemed to get a lot of play for the reserves this past season and performed pretty well. Then again, he was on loan from Czech side Banik Ostrava, so I guess he didn't do enough to convince Arsene to go for him.
