As the question asks, who do YOU think is best??? In my opinion, Premiership. I feel the teams are more competitive and the clubs are more renowned than Spain's.

Based on the UEFA Coefficient, France is #2 behind Spain. ( http://www.xs4all.nl/~kassiesa/bert/uefa/data/method3/ccoef2004.html )

I'm still waiting for the first person OUTSIDE of the U.K. (ie. not totally biased)to actually think the EPL is better than La Liga!

more competitive? I don't think you can say that about a league won by a team that went undefeated, and who the teams fighting for champions league spots have been weak and inconsistent. Even Beckham himself said La Liga is a tougher league.

I'll have to say the Prem.

I've seen enough of both, and i enjoy watching both, but i've seen more boring games in Spain than i have in England. Alot of the time teams in Spain seem more concerned about looking pretty on the ball than actually going at goal and playing with pace.

The speed and the power of the Prem puts it above La Liga, in my mind.

La Liga ...... easily. With that being said, i enjoy watching the Prem much more because of the more frenetic pace set (which probably has as much to do with the cooler weather in England than anything else), but if you are going to look at the objective factors (Europe), the Spanish teams do better in those competitions.

I'm a Premiership fan but I'd go with LA Liga simply because despite the great team in Madrid the other teams seem to have a genuine chance. Since the premierships inception only Blackburn have broken the Man-U/Arsenal stranglehold on the trophy and frankly it makes for a dull season. LA Liga has so much room for smaller teams to win and move up, just look at Malaga or Depor.

Five years ago the Premiership was a joke... but after the mass influx of "foreigners", it has given the league a new fresh look that's alot more entertaining.
With that said, they still haven't caught up with La Liga though. Spanish teams are still dominating European cup competitions... but if the EPL continues what its been doing they could easily surpass it.

    Answer: La Liga

    Peru y tu?
