Joao Pedro grabbing his head when Gabriel's boot didn't come close to his head. Earns a yellow.

Did Josh Kroenke lose a bet, or is he auditioning to be a Bond villain.

Yikes that was Josh Kroenke with the beard? Never woulda recognized him in a million years. Looks like he went down to the Armory before the match to pick up some jackets for he and his gal. ;)

Win or not, Arsenal should have produced more than 10 shots by the 85' mark for a home match vs Watford.

Seriously over the top play-acting by Tavares there. Literally over the top.

I'd like him and Laca to cut that shit out.

Am I taking crazy pills or has Saka straight up not been able to run for most of the second half? Why wait so long to sub him?

Weird match. Arsenal have been much more in control than they were the Leicester match - maybe that's down to Ranieri wanting to counter. Could easily be 4- or 5-0. And yet doesn't feel like Arsenal have dominated at all.

    FT: 1-0

The means was apparently unappealing, but the ends are the same. 3 pts.

Final, 1-nil to the Arsenal. International break, then Liverpool

    FT 1-0

A fairly nervy match that shoulda been 3-0 at least, but...

Serious kudos due for our recent run...

20 out of the last 24 pts available!

We're up to 5th place with some daylight below us...

    And finally a non-negative GD
    :p

Seriously, well done to Arteta and the boys!

Give Partey's groin some recovery time during Interlull

    And onward with @ArsenalMetro

Arteta and Ranieri getting a bit animated with each other at the end. Watford manager seemed upset about something.

Yeah, that's unusual from Claudio. Maybe our "gamemanship", e.g. Nuno's antics that got the fouler carded and ejected?

Peacock: Ain't it nice how it suddenly pops up "Coverage has Concluded" within seconds of FT, and while the announcer is still speaking?

Honestly I thought we were good. Presuming that Odegaards shot was going in, Auba appeared to be attempting the world’s first negative xG for a match. Don’t know why Saka was in for forty minutes after it appeared he couldn’t run. Otherwise, it seemed like a decent performance to me

Tierney might legitimately have trouble getting back into this squad?! Nuno’s runs at the end were terrorizing them

Yup, and that's exactly what we've been needing as far as LB cover. We've finally, after too many years, have got legit competition at that spot.

I have no problem with it. Competition is good and Tierney is a negative attacking player.

Auba playing terribly prevented this from being 3-0, like it deserved.

They should've sold him at the top of the transfer market price and invested in a replacement, other than that it is what it is. This past window appears to be done well so far. Let's see if Arteta/Edu can keep learning/progressing the squad on the job.
