How bad will the jet lag be? Can we keep a clean sheet, again? Will our front unit click?

All this and more live from Turf Moor.

Dyche has done a goof job at Burnley but, hopefully, not today.

Be interesting to see if Dyche can keep them close enough again this first half season to where a January smart buy or three under new ownersmight make a real differene and keep them up, otherwise even Dyche may might not be able to get it done again; but as you say don't start today

    Two little ducks
his advantage over say Kovacic, Kante, Gilmour is that Ethan can hit some long range passes.
As we know Jorghino can on occasion also do this. Hit a long range pass. However, Jorg often prefers to pass it back and put another player in danger. You cannot play the ball back to Zouma and expect him to do much. You are in fact courting disaster. Jorghino's distribution has become increasingly poor. Jorghino off the ball is often burnt for pace and he is then forced to commit a foul. As a person and character I do have some respect for our Vice Captain. But he is not quick enough and he doesn't hit enough forward passes.

yep, Jorg just does not quite fit in often enough or do enough on either end; excited too see Amp playing a lot has had some fine moments. I think Billy has some long passing in his game, he had. a few beauties last season

No Jorginho or kova. Lineup has Kante, Mount, and Havertz.

He did it, the crazy son of a b did it.

Wonder if mount is a pivot or he’s going holding with Kante and double 8s more of a 4-3-3?!

I hope we get good control early so Timo can completly rest and Giroud can get some well deserved time in the 2nd half

well good to see Rud climb to third, but has Tomori been put in witness protection, AC seems to be last in line now, which makes sense to me

Wow, I am anxious to see Frank Jr play in midfield. I do not rate Jorginho at all, and I think too often CFC give up the center of the ptich when he is playing. I think MM and NK would be a pretty good combination to provide some steel and resistance in the midfield.
