Yes, I think that site is kind of focused on the choices of numbers for each player, and presenting the XI as a guide and probably from memory/assumption after looking back at the line-ups, but often it has the correct formations and position allocations though still. And yeah Steven should have been shown as being in the Team of the Season with Starfacts that's true (he was also the top-rated player of the league season with The People's ratings according to their own final summary as we discovered and in Match's XI of the season too).
As promised, 'Match Facts' from 1984/85. Quite a few of these are from issues kept in binders, which makes copying them very difficult! Hopefully the ratings are still clear enough, this is the summary for the season: 1984/85 Match Facts 1 Sept – 22 Dec 1984 [wks 1-17] 29 December 1984 / 5 January 1985 [wks 18 & 19 – no Match Facts] Half-Term Report 12 Jan – 8 June 1985 [wks 20-41] Matchman of the Year – Final Weeks 1-2
@Paul W Thanks Paul.....we look forward to seeing what we have for the 1985-86 season as well, so we know which magazines are missing!
@Pavlin Arnaudov Thanks Pavlin, I am hoping to post what I have for 1985/86 soon. For 1984/85, unfortunately week 12 is one I copied from a library collection, so I don't have the original issue. This is the problem when they are in binders... It is 17 November 1984, if that helps!
I haven't identified which page/s you mean Pavlin yet, but if the text is all there but just small or faint you could try right clicking and choosing 'magnify image' to get a clearer and enlarged view of it.
