Jesus man. It's only just February. Far too early to e saying such things. Many more twists to come for both teams.
Rooney because he is supposed to be our best player, we will look at him to drag us out of problems and we will look at what he earns or team functioning with him. 442 because one it doesnt go well with 90% of our team and because of it we cant find replacements because nobody in Europe plays it anymore. I will give you Young , but surely he has to show something sooner or later.
Ashley Young still needs to prove that the shirt is not too heavy for him. I just saw a cop hit a helpless snake with his baton. Lol. Gotta love Cops on Fox.
I hate the 442...We are better off playing a 4231(which is what we mostly play against the top teams)...
I think we have Rooney, Nani, Giggs and possibly Valencia. Cheech can't start a fire, but he is the best we have when it comes to finishing what those men can start. I honestly don't know how many want or care for Rooney here. This is the board that disparages La Liga and then froths at the mouth every time Ronnie scores, as if he didn't frack off to Madrid and treated us like a stepping stone . This board is just a bit backwards to me.
Aren't goals all you need to win a match? Javiers chemistry with rooney and giggs is amazing. Still think berba should be up top instead of wellbeck.
You don't think Cheech impedes the teams build up play? That he is incapable of creating for himself or anyone else? Outside of the goal Rooney scored in the CL semis last season, I can't remember a great outside of the box attacking move from Cheech. He is fantastic in the box, but he is completely dependent on his teammates in terms of build up and creating for him. Worst yet, he breaks up our play far more then he helps it.
Once Wayne Rooney starts costing us trophies, consistently, and over the course of a campaign, I will begin to question him. To this point, I'm happy enough. I think his wage is a giant red herring in this entire thing. People try using it as an excuse for their critiscm. I find that argument misleading. The investment we make in him through is he safest choice we could have made at the time. He is very much a known quantity. While he may not be a 180k player, he is a 140k player over the course of a campaign. I would rather put that additional 40k towards a known quantity, who knows our culture, team and style intimately than gamble on a star 180k player from outside. Assuming one was even avaiable.
Not to mention that he is far and away the "star". When it comes to the financial argument, one cannot simply forget that he is one of the most marketable stars in world football.
Tried to do what? I simply stated goals are needed to win a game and that is what Chicharito does best. Then I get all this trash talk from you guys. Lol.
