Sorry if this topic gets beaten to death in KC, but we outsiders don't get any news on his recovery. How is he? Any expected return? He was always saying mid-June which I took to be the usual player's optimistic expectations, but I didn't think early July was out of the realm of possibility. Any news? Thanks, Scotty
Hmmm, well that thread ended quickly...is three posts some kind of record? Anyway, thanks for the update, even though it didn't provide much, at least I know I'm not the only one out of the loop.
no record. I have seen threads start with no reply whatsoever. that would have been a much more ignominious end to your thread.
Preki is rehabbing in KC since he lives in the area. And he has attended every home game. To throw in our other injured player, Igor Simutenkov was seen sitting on the bench at the last Saturday home game. I don't know about the Wednesday game against NE since I couldn't attend.
I know that he is gonna suck major ass when he gets back. This will be the last season for him. I promise it.
The last date I had heard thrown about was around 2 weeks ago. Preki mentioned the July 3rd game. When KC is in first, we don't answer Preki threads till Preki is back. You already suck ass. I promise it.
And Ante sucks major ass when taking a pk! Maybe your great coach should give someone else a chance from the spot to score a goal instead of "down the middle Razov".
Considering how many 42 year old first division midfielders there are, you're really going out on a limb with this one.
I really don't think the only two-time league MVP in MLS history is going to suck all of a sudden, even after his injury. It's not like he relies on speed and strength, he's pretty much all skill.
