Gotta give props to the old man who's still making it happen for the Wiz. And that's some compliment, coming from a Revs fan who should by all rights be dissing Preki in favor of Twellman. As much as TnT scores, I'd still love to see him tally a couple of assists as well, like Preki manages.
Besides the fact he whines after every non-call against him (come on, Preki, sometimes people steal the ball from you clean), Preki is indeed the ageless wonder. No one's figured out his left foot yet, after all these years. Amazing.
Yeah he whines, yeah he grabs his head with an agonized look when his shot isn't on frame. That's because he's passionate about the game. He's been playing professionally for what, 20+ years and he still has the enthusiasm of (but not the endurance) of an 18 year old. Willie Mays and Hank Aaron played past the point where they should have hung 'em up. Thankfully, Pradrag has not yet reached that point and as a Wizard fan I'm delighted.

I had the furtune to watch Preki play for the San Jose Grizzlies indoor team, before MLS was started. If you think his vision, cut and shot are amazing outdoor... imagine him always within striking distance indoor.
Preki is going to be our Stanley Matthews, who also supposedly had a move that all defenders are familiar with and yet could not prevent. I look forward to another ten years or so of Preki's plays.
Preki has been my most consistent point-earner on my MLSFS team. He has helped me crawl my way to #1 in my division. Yeah, he is good.
If I had a dollar for everytime I have yelled this at my TV since I first saw Preki, I would be a happy man.
I wonder if he's available for our over 40 team. We could use a ringer. The 40 year old kids are starting to run my 59 year old ass ragged.
