1 - Inter, with no CL plus added quality in Palacio Guardin Handanovic Silvestre.
2 - Juve, CL will hurt and conte issue
    3 - Roma - ZEMANMANIA
4 - Milan , I see them suffer but they might go up in my ranking as galliani defo has sthg up his sleeve for last days in the mercato
5 - Fiorentina, vastly improved with other sides weakened.
6 - Napoli/Lazio No Lavezzi you will see them struggle, an Lazio too old.

    Udinese will fall big

    1 - Juventus
    2 - Inter
    3 - Napoli
    4 - Lazio
    5 - Udinese
    6 - Milan
    7 - Roma
    8 - Palermo
    9 - Parma
    10 - Catania
    11 - Sampdoria
    12 - Fiorentina
    13 - Atalanta
    14 - Chievo
    15 - Cagliari
    16 - Genoa
    17 - Torino
    18 - Bologna
    19 - Siena
    20 - Pescara

    - Juventus are still the team to beat, even though they haven't really gotten stronger. Fortunately, neither have many of the teams close to them. If they sign a big name striker, then I could see them running away with the title. I also don't see them making an impact in Champions League, and could probably go out as early as the Group Stages.
    - Milan will fall with the loss of Ibrahimovich and Thiago Silva. It's difficult to replace your top scorer and best defender, especially when you don't really have comparable players to replace them. I think they'll be hit hard.
    - Napoli will take third, despite losing Lavezzi. As long as their defense doesn't crumble, they'll have a strong season.
    - Udinese will once again pull a rabbit out of the hat, despite losing a lot of their talent. They won't finish top 3, but they'll still continue to shock Serie A.
    - Fiorentina could fall further down the table if they sell Jovetic. I'm not that high on them to begin with. I don't think they have a strong club, and I think Jovetic is the glue holding them together. Montella is a good coach, but I don't know if there's enough talent to go from la salvezza to a European place.
    - With Siena starting the season with a 6 point penalty, plus the loss of Destro, plus their head coach to start the season is Serse Cosmi, and he'll only last about 10 games before he's fired, and by then they'll be so far in the hole, that they won't recover.
    - Siena still won't be as bad as Pescara, though. Pescara's head coach has only held two coaching jobs: Milan's Primavera team (he was sacked from that gig) and Serie C1 side Suditrol Alto-Adige (they finished 7th). He won't last until Halloween before he's canned, and Pescara go searching again.
    - I see Bologna going down after they lose Di Vaio, and I think they'll sell Gaston Ramirez. It'll be a fight to stay up, though, but I think it'll be a losing one.
    - Sampdoria will be the surprise of the season, finishing 11th after coming back up from Serie B, winning the playoff.
    - Coaches who will start the season coaching clubs who will be fired during the season - Allegri, Cosmi, De Canio, Pioli, Sannino, Stroppa, Ventura, and Zeman.
    - Number of coaches Zamparini will use this season: 4

We finished tied for 12th, with a 10-point cushion between us and the relegation zone.

Lucio won't start. Bonucci is the starter. Also, it's looking like Asamoah will be playing where De Ceglie is.

Last I checked, he was still on the team. Until he's banned, he's on the backline and starting.

If he's guilty, may he fry for it. That's if he's guilty. I don't believe that he's innocent, though.

I have no sympathy for cheaters. Especially when it comes to italian soccer.

If it comes out that Cannavaro and Grava are guilty too, then I hope they get sent to a turkish prison. Something like in Midnight Express

Even if he's found innocent I truly believe you'll think it was rigged. Never mind the fact that Masiello's been caught lying on more than one occasion and changed his story when called out on it.

I believe he's innocent, so far reports are claiming that the tribunal doesn't believe Masiello's testimony anymore.

I just don't see how you could be high on Montella yet still think that this MUCH improved squad won't improve over last year when we were dismal.

Just losing Montolivo is a +10 in the points column.

I don't see how losing a player would earn you points, but OK.

I think Montella's a good coach, and he will keep this team from languishing. Where has this team improved? Viviano didn't really wow while at Palermo, and you have to wonder if he's even fully healthy. You got El Hamdoui, but I don't see him breaking down Serie A defenses the way he did in the Eredivisie. You added Aquilani, but he hasn't done jack squat for a few years now. Is there any wonder why he can't seem to catch on anywhere? On defense, the addition of Roncaglia could be good, but I don't rate Rodriguez too highly. The rest of the team seems stagnant. I just don't see it.

Well then I can only assume that you haven't watched us much the last few seasons and I don't blame you, even I have been almost unable to watch.

I doubt that anyone keep stats for these sorts of things but Monty has to lead the league in assists to the opposition in the last three seasons, at least. Of the wins we have over Juve, Milan, Roma and Inter since 05-06 Monty has missed all of them but 1 or 2. He's played in all but 1 or 2 of the 20+ losses to those sides.

And if we still had him we wouldn't have gotten all of these midfielders we've gotten. He would be fifth or sixth on this team's depth chart.

And it's not even really his fault. Blame all of those (myself included) who said he was the heir to Pirlo.

Anyway we're much better without him. No doubt in my mind.

We'll figure out a way to make up for the lost 1.5 assists per season that he provided.

Why do you guys think Napoli will continue to do well, despite losing Lavezzi? I can't see them finishing ahead of Roma or Lazio.
