Will we suffer without kanoute ? Boro have been something of a bogey team for us in recent seasons. I can't see us losing this one, I predict a narrow, hard fought 2-1 win.

They have been our ultimate bogey team over the past few years. Last year they beat us 0-3 at the Lane and 1-5 in Boro....

But I reckon that had more to do with Mclaren's 4-3-3 having the number of Glenn's 3-5-2.

As long as we don't play Poyet and Anderton in central midfield and defend properly - (thankfully Gardner should be back to partner Richards) - then I reckon we can get a result out of this.

I'm going to be cautious though and call it a 1-1 draw even though we're at home. So not great, but it stretches our unbeaten run out.

They have been our bogey team but that was a better side than this year's version and we were banged up each time. Now we're only missing Fredi and Davies (he's not healthy yet, is he?) and will get an emotional lift from the return of Ziege. I'm normaly a pessimist, but I concur with the 2-1 Spurs.

Well, the home defeat had more to do with game tactics than formation. If you recall, Spurs were on a high, and rolling along, and playing with great rythem. 'boro comes along, and from the opening moments of the game, did not allow Spurs to get into any rythem. It was a very frustrating game to listen to.

Not to be a dick, but I think we'll lose this one. Boro will give us the business, with Mendieta and Juninho being the sparks.

I'd be more worried by Maccarone and in our attackers having a tricky time against Boro's defence.

I think we can win the game, but we'll need a bit more luck and some very solid defending. Another Mabizela or Tarrico thunderbolt wouldn't go amiss.

So Ziege on the bench (hopefully) and Postiga vs Zamora for the place up front.

Davies needs a couple more weeks but King is on the verge of a comeback.
