Unfortunately, I don't have anything to offer for this thread since I don't have much access to watching Serbian football. So I encourage the other Serbian (as well as Dutch, Argentine, and Ivorian) posters to post their roster predictions (either who you fancy for the squad or who you think the manager will select)...

I will sit back and await your thoughts

    My prediction for Argentina:

    Abbondanzieri (Boca)
    Lux (River Plate)
    Barbosa (Villareal)
    Coloccini (La Coruña)
    Samuel (Inter)
    Milito (Zaragoza)
    Ayala (Valencia)
    Gonzalo (Villareal)
    Sorin (Villareal)
    Demichelis (Bayern)
    Zanetti (Inter)
    Mascherano (Corinthians)
    Cambiasso (Inter)
    Aimar (Valencia)
    Maxi Rodriguez (Atletico Madrid)
    Bilos (Boca)
    Riquelme (Villareal)
    Messi (Barça)
    Crespo (Chelsea)
    Cruz (Inter)
    Tevez (Corinthians)
    Saviola (Sevilla)
    Palacio (Boca)

Unfortunately, I am quite pessimistic about Heinze's recovery, that's why I didn't include him in the list. I really hope he can make it, though. Palacio would be a good outsider to try.

How come no Lucho Gonzalez in the Argentina squad...hes simply amazing.

Him and quaresma have been by far portos best player this year and if itwasnt for portos crap defense they would be feared by any team left in the last 16.

Well, that's only my prediction. Lucho is certainly being considered, but I doubt he'll get a place, since we have such quality players at that very position.

If Argentina play a 3-5-2, which he have been doing lately, Lucho definately should get the nod and play alongside Mascherano.

why do you doubt that he'll get a place on the team? he's one of our best players. started against brazil in the game we qualified and was absolutly phenominal. and is playing great for porto like the guy said above. IMO, lucho will definatly be there and starting.

I'm maybe wrong, but I didn't see him included in the latest selections for the friendlies... But then Pekerman has not yet finalised his choices...

Ron Vlaar has featured on a regular basis and I believe he will make the 23 Squad. Heitinga, I am not sure, it might be Mathijsen in his place. I chose Heitinga purely based on having played more games in the Preliminaries, but he coould well miss on the squad.

About Kuijt in midfield, wingers are for me Midfield. Kuijt plays Right-Winger for the National Team (and an excellent one too), so I listed him in midfield. I also list the Holland system, as 4-5-1 rather than 4-3-3. But it's the same actually.
