That was nearly 2 years ago; this Spanish team won't underestimate us again which benefits us. We need to fight them at their best.

I am sure another team will do that at the world cup.

    Not really.
It was reported that we would play those teams. Not really 100% confirmed until the draw.

Now we know the metropolitan areas they will play at.

Finally a friendly in Colombia. Shocked it isn't being played in the US.

We haven't had a game in Bogota in like 10 years

Makes sense to play at altitude right before heading to El Azteca.

Should be on sale within the next few weeks I assume.
I am still trying to figure out which stadiums. Not sure it will be Camping World cause that is turf. But they may lay down temporary grass like for the Club Word Cup. The MLS stadium has grass but seems a bit small

As for Washington do they mean the MLS stadium? That would be even smaller. The baseball field would suck and they are going to prepare it for MLB season. Maybe the NFL stadium in Maryland where Colombia kicked USA’s arses.

Probably teams that also want to prepare for the altitude. South Africa would make sense since they are playing Mexico.
Also we are more than likely playing an African team.

I hope Senegal. They in my eyes are the best African team right now.

    That would be cool.

But usually teams play against other teams that are from the same Confederation as their Group opponents. So I do not think it will be them but you never know.

Maybe Algeria since they play Argentina. Or Morocco cause they play Brasil.

Maybe Morocco and Senegal. Those two teams are strong enough as an excellent warm up and willing to travel to our country.

I doubt Morocco likes us much at the moment after the Lucho Hakimi incident.

And yet we had a friendly with Brazil two months after Zuniga nearly paralyzed Neymar in the 2014 QF of the world cup; both reconciling right before the start of the match.

Football is special like that where we look forward. Not always, but clearly not impossible.

so when they don't score 5 on Mexico that mean we are the better team :)

I can see the Mexicans being trolls and winning. Then their media will go back to saying they are better than Brazil & Argentina because they have more gold cups than those teams have of Copa americas + world cups combined

Senegal only has the US as a confirmed friendly; think we could maybe get a friendly with them in that game window?

Probably not Senegal if Bogota is going to be the match Colombia wants before the Cup.
