Prefer Sinni but he's gotta focus on club and fitness and Gomez over Serna but think it's good he gets a call up a chance to show what he's got with the team. Arias needs rest after playing so much, Rios probably too. Would like to see Cucho played at 9 and don't really want to see Lerma, need to give more time to guys to prepare them to take over. Suarez and Cucho given more time, Suarez as the default starter and Cucho to see if he can get into the mix as a 9, also Yaser needs to be given more time.

yeah I figured but Santi isn't a shoo-in right. I would imagine he's fighting for a spot and should get more minutes. Munoz needs competition in that position.

    Awful call-up.

    Mier again
    Borre
    No Arias
Ángulo that also played crap vs Venezuela

Don't know why he repeats limited players that are not NT material

Angulo had like 1 game lol. If ever there was a time to give him a try it's now in friendlies against crap teams like Mexico

Arias needs the rest and is pretty much guaranteed a spot

Yeah but what info does it really give us? Even if mier would save 2 penalties and ángulo have a good game it's still just a friendly and they would probably both repeat their Venezuela game when it really matters.

Colombian media is now speculating that Colombia is seeking a friendly with Portugal.
The Federation has denied it but said they will talk about next year's friendlies after the World Cup draw in December.

I thought someone posted Croatia and Belgium as well for march if they aren’t in our group.

Portugal wants to play us or Ecuador

... makes sense he is part of the process but wish they had called up Jhohan Romana of San Lorenzo

plays in a better league younger and taller

    I like Romana a lot.
But as you said, Ditta has been a part of the process. And in addition to that has a very good chemistry with Mier at Cruz Azul.

Nestor’s comments about Jhon Arias and Jhon Córdoba - nothing surprising here

NESTOR LORENZO SPOKE ABOUT THE ABSENCE OF JHON CORDOBA AND JHON ARIAS; WHY DIDN'T HE CALL THEM UP?

ABOUT CORDOBA: “Nobody knows this about Córdoba, but he drives 6 hours to catch the first flight from Moscow, then has another layover, there's an eight-hour time difference, every time he comes here, he arrives in bad shape, not physically bad, but exhausted, he makes a huge effort and I preferred to manage that expenditure for the two call-ups, it's almost certain he'll come in November, but I preferred for him to rest and play for his club”.

ABOUT ARIAS: “Jhon Arias is adapting to his new club, to the Premier League, it's a tough championship, it's a team that needs him 100 percent and I explained it to him. He'll surely be there in November too”.

I also heard about those reasons.
Also, in the same interview he mentioned that Carrascal is playing through pain at Flamengo and insinuated that he needed time to rest up.

since WC tickets are fking insane.... I think I will be attending the Canada and Nigeria games now.

    2500 for 6 tickets .....

so these prices and $100 parking doesn't seem so insane anymore.

For the Nigeria game it's already super fking cold in CT. I remember going to see Brazil vs Colombia in Giants stadium 10 years ago in November. They didn't even run it was so cold. My dad and I kept going to buy hot chocolate. We were ********ing freezing

It is going to be interesting to see how we do in these friendlies.
Mexico is pretty poor in general and we have owned them recently. But they are playing much better under el Vasco.

Canada is arguably the best team in CONCACAF right now. If we were playing them in Toronto or Vancouver I would even slightly favor them as crazy as it sounds.
But this game is in New Jersey so I think we find a way to barely win. But who knows? If it is an experimental lineup anything can happen.

(And I know, these are friendlies so the scores are not really that important. Blah, blah, blah.)

that is not the way to stay rich bro....

real rich people don't buy corvettes or escalades. My wife and I lease 2 Chevy equinox EVs for 150/m each haha. Live within your means so your not selling your kids X-mas presents to pay rent. Income creep is a real thing.

also just because you make 6 figures doesnt mean you will always make it. Those jobs aren't as easy to get as you think they are. AI is coming.

it also what is important to people. I prefer spend that money taking my kids and nephews/nieces to places and makings sure they are set for the future more than watching a game I can see better on TV but that is me.

5k in stock over time > taking someone to a game.

I'm going to watch, but I will not really get carried away by the result, either way, not even if we lose badly; now is the time to try new players and new things, and some of our key contributors will not be available.
