oh pekerman is crying because a bobolitro hates him. yeah you love mediocrity: angel, rueda and bolillo that bunch of failures...that always defend here. ah ok so in a friendly you can train not to make a handball in the first minute...when you have 32 yeara friendlies are so overrated....and the analysis out of them are so false...
Yeah, MetLife stadium out in the Meadowlands (NJ) has pretty much the same parking prices...not sure about Yankee Stadium.
I parked for $40 at MetLife for the Club World Cup a couple of times this summer. Had to leave my bigger SUV at home because they wanted >$100 for larger vehicles.
Anyone planning to go to the or game? hit me up. I got my ticket for the Canada game and will be buying tickets tomorrow as well. I’m scared of the World Cup ticket prices, so this may be it for me lol
undecided…. Hopefully will hear back about the WC on Wednesday Neither team is all that exciting enough to drive 6 hours while working a full day. guess it depends on the call up and might be a last minute thing. If we destroy Mexico maybe that will motivate me to go see the team a few days later. November game might go to Korea at that time so won’t be in the country
well 2.5-3 hours give or take to get there then have to drive back to work the next day. Honestly for me it's not terrible but I'd want to take my dad who is getting older. just don't know if he can do that drive. My nephews want to go but again they'd probably have to skip school the next day.
I've done it before a lot to see the NT or go see the Bruins, NY rangers, Giants, Celtics. It is really a shitty day the next day haha. Especially since you start driving around rush hour and people in NY already drive like total A holes.
6 hours.. thats like Miami to Jacksonville, also would have to hope traffic isn't ass or that number will go up
Now it is time for one of my favorite things in the world…. …roster speculation. Currently, the only surprising names I am hearing on the preliminary list are in the back line. Which makes sense. We need to experiment with FBs. Hayen Palacio, RB at Nacional de Uruguay is a name that is supposedly on the list. I guess we can stop saying Lorenzo needs to scout. If that guy is on the radar. The other name I am hearing is not really a name any of us have been clamoring for. Mr William Tesillo. *Cue Halloween music.
I know. But he is following his current form in the Uruguay’s league. Shows you how lowly he thinks of Colombian domestic players outside of Medellin.
Do we know how much winning these friendlies will up our ranking in time for the draw in December? Can we secure being a top seed team or will the friendlies not make a difference?
Won’t Really make much of a difference. Unfortunately we would need a bunch of Euro teams underachieving and making it through the Playoffs or being eliminated. Anyway, going back to player call up speculation…. … other players that are being rumored to being a part of the preliminary list are Cucho, Cabal, Serna, Sini, Gomez.
Yeah because there are 12 groups in this world cup and we are 13 in rankings; the point difference between us and the top 12 isn't by much but the factors of the other teams does play a role. And I am sure November friendlies won't be official so we can't factor those.
You also have to remember the three host teams are automatically seeded no matter what their rankings are. So we have to be in the top 9.
And we will not be based on points available (4 friendlies vs 4 official games for all the Euros and Morocco). The only way for Colombia to be top seeded is for 4 of the teams ahead of us to not make it to the WC. IIRC, the only one with a complicated path is Italy, all the others should qualify easily.
