Terrible display. I felt I was watching a throwback game from the Mano era circa 2011/2012. The midfield was terrible. Our transition from defense to offense was poor. Bad passing, bad fouls, bad defending. If we play like this in the wc it's going to be long tournament. If we play like this against Spain,Netherlands,or chile in the round of 16 we will lose. Hopefully Felipao will look at the footage and correct what happened. Even though we won it looked like a Mano era victory. I'm surprised paulinho and Gustavo played poorly. My panic easy uncle is already talking about salto alto. Lol

I didn't see the game but I'm going with the theory that it's 6 days before the WC and we are still in cruise mode to avoid major injury but still if it's as bad as I been hearing then their is a few things to concerned. Oscar form is a concern. We can't be over-reliant on Neymar for creativity. The inability to transition from defense to attack is probably the most prominent issue.

Watching the game right now. Looks like one of those awful WCQ games we play sometimes. Doesn't look like a team that has played together before. Oscar has definitely been terrible so far.

And if I have a solution for our RB problems, just stick Ramires there and call it a day. He can run like no tomorrow. Not sure if can cross or not, but can't be worse than Dani Alves and Maicon overall.

Just saw the play where he gave a Cerezo style pass in the middle :ROFLMAO:

Seriously Ramires might do better than both.

I rather Scolari play 3 at the back then play a makeshift RB in Ramires. Ramires nowadays seems like a booking waiting to happen.

Time fechado. O bate papo do Willian não adianta.

O Oscar, eu acho, precisa conduzir o jogo do começo.

    2011 - Internacional
    ----Férias-----
    2012 - Internacional
    2012 - Jogos Olímpicos
    2012-13 - Chelsea
    2013 - Copa das Confederações
    2013-14 - Chelsea
    2014 - Copa do Mundo

Sorry to tell you guys.....I've got some bad news...its not gonna change, we will still win the World Cup, but it's gonna be the ugliest style ever!!

Despite it being in Brazil I'm gonna predict it will be a low scoring World Cup..almost near World Cup'90 level

A World Cup title victory is a World Cup title victory.

I did not watch the match but what I did like was Fred's goal. The man was on the ground and it was a goal scored through nothing more than sheer garra and vontade. At times that's what teams need.

Fred scored a goal from the ground against Spain in 2013.

Perhaps this is why Scolari has him on the team. Fred is notches below the likes of Neymar, Ronaldo, Rivaldo, Romario, Careca, and even Elber. But he scores. And that's going to matter. (And, let's not forget Fred has World Cup experience.).

Every WC is relatively boring if you compare it with lg play unless you were watching during the 60's, 70's and 80's. I wasn't even born in the 80's so for me every world cup is ugly- the game has just evolved that way. France in 98 disappointed everyone until the final.

We don't have an easy route - other teams have lots of injuries though.

Chances are some of the favorites will disappoint, as always happens.

As a rule of thumb, a World Cup champion faces two big teams in the road to the trophy.

Brazil faced Holland + Italy in 1994 and England + Germany in 2002, for example.

It's funny how the Bein Sport commentators bashes Oscar, Hulk, Fred and the rest for making mistakes. But when your "wonder boy" Neymar makes mistakes everyone ignores it like nothing happen.

Ray Hudson loves Neymar :D. I actually like his commentary. Phil is an idiot though.

We played badly and Serbia could easily have got the first goal and won comfortably.
Oscar is suffering from lack of sleep with his baby problems, I really think he should be dropped for his own sake.
Alves is a liability; Gustavo and Paulinho are not firing.
The team has lost its shape, there were too many times when we were defending 2 against 2, a recipe for disaster. At one point there were 2 Brasil defenders in the right back corner and everyone else in midefield or the other half, but we were defending!
The only positive I can take is that we wont meet a bigger, stronger or heavier team than this in the finals, and we did scrape a win. Hulk had a goal disallowed when he was 4 or 5 yards ONSIDE, so it should have been 2-0. But I have to say Serbia had clear chances they did not put away.

I just watched the Portugal x Mexico game, they won the game, but didn't look great. Then they faced a Republic of Ireland team which is farm from being a good squad.

France beat up Jamaica... if Brazil plays Jamaica and beats them that way everyone would say big deal... Then tied Paraguay in France... you know the Paraguay which didn't even qualify for the WC and was last place in CONMEBOL.

But France has been on a tear this year playing every game at home since they haven't won away from home since 2012... Oh sorry they beat Belarus away in 2013..

I don't think France will do well this Cup.
