Fred doesn't need confidence, he needs more balls played to him. Holy crap what a nice first touch. 10 goals on 12 games for Felipão.
Trivela @trivela 1h Os engarrafamentos são pesados em quase todas as vias de São Paulo. Mas a avenida Daniel Alves segue com trânsito livre @celito
But, but, but Mano's system was more modern and his false 9 was starting to come around.......(against China)
We've committed more mistakes in this game than in all the other games in the Felipão's era combined. This can't happen again. Well for those who wanted to see a Brasil game without Neymar, there it is. He couldn't create anything (other than the wrongly disallowed goal), an really off day for him. Now tell me who step up in our creativity sector with Neymar's (almost) absence? Thiago Silva. This can't be right guys, very troubling indeed.
We weren't very convincing in the friendlies leading up to the Confed's Cup, but we stepped our game up for the competition. We can only hope the same will happen in less than 6 days...
Miacon and Thiago Silva had some good balls. Willian had opportunities but couldn't execute. I've always felt other players tend to left their games up in these situations when they don't have a player they can rely on.
Brazil played against England and France just before the Confeds though, not Panama and Serbia. But friendlies can't be taken too seriously anyway, focus will be different in the World Cup (regarding both Brazil and the opponents).
We played a weakened France team, not one with Ribery, Pogba, etc. That England team was also much different than their current one and our second half was poor. Obviously it's not the same as France or England, but the importance of the matches prior to the Confed's Cup were greater than these matches before the WC.
@pvcespn: http://t.co/2gIJkXw0eC Erros individuais demais, mas a vitória contra a Sérvia vale mais do que o teste contra o Panamá.
Indeed, they were weakened teams compared to their current ones, but still...tougher opponents in theory than Panama and Serbia. But it's good for Brazil to have their errors exposed before the tournament starts, gives more time to fix them.
Couldn't catch most of the game. Will have to watch the recording. But from what I saw, mostly 1st half, looked pretty bad. Didn't like the defensive mistakes including individual mistakes and positioning. Luiz and Silva butting heads. Marcelo being funny clearing the ball. Alves...well everything. The field did look pretty bad which I think affected passing. Maybe this game should have been in the Italixao ... because it's ready right ? (I won't name who).
I can say with pride that Italixao is an original creation Not based on WC preparations, just because of the club it belongs to.
I'll watch the game later, we had a churrasco for one of our departing teammates here at work and one iPad streaming the game was enough for me to catch the goal but obviously I couldn't comment on the whole thing. BTW, can we get that goal linked here? I realize there's a lot to fix, but damn did that goal make me happy. If Fred is doing that in the World Cup it's a huge positive.
I don' t know about you guys but given the draw through the knockout games, I don't see this team getting to the Final. I really hope I am wrong. Or that FIFA has already got it planned.
