There is not really a thread for this type of stuff.

    Angel stays in Jersey

I kinda like this move we need Angel 100% fit for the entire season. To even have a chance to reproduce what we did last year and to succeed in CCL.

A lot of people were complaining about Brunner not signing last year.

Stupid Red Bull, cheap, bright young talent, he got a throw away cap at a throw away Touluse tourney for third raters he must have something good enough for MLS, blah, blah, etc, etc, etc...the usual short, simple minded complaints.

Well, after a year of seasoning he still isn't ready or good enough.

Something quite a few rationally expalined last year. Dime a dozen. Not worth the money for an MLS team.

Interesting. Wouldn't those of you say...if you are honest enough to come out and admit your insanity,/willingness to complain for the sake of complaining.

According to Brian Lewis, the Red Bulls lost to the U17 US National Team 1-0 today in Brandenton, FL:

Red Bulls lose to U-17s. Yes, U-17s!

not really a big deal to me...its a good way to weed out people you dont want on your team.

I agree. Most of our starters weren't even playing. Whatever.

This is the time to pick out our 24 - it's purely for evaluation.

A couple of interviews up on Redbullsreader
(does Osorio look tired or what?)

Interesting where he says that he's sure about 10 players... and the rest he's deciding on.

    Fight for those spots, boys.

Both afflictions are complicated by the fact that even with his bad back, Juan Pablo carried the team most games he played...

Hope his trainers teach him to bend his knees before carrying us to victory in the MLS cup this season.

He has 39% percent of our teams goals from the last two seasons:eek:

If Rojas is fit and plays well I think our scoring will be more spread out this season. I see richards getting 7 or more goals and who ever plays up top with Angel (most likely Oduro at this point) would be around 10 goals...Just my guess/opinion.

Metz, the joke is not about Angel but about our Red Bulls, who have nobody without Dave VDB to get Angel the ball consistantly. I don't think anyone is joking about Angel, who is the best player we have ever had. We have not done a good job, as an organization in finding anyone who can make Angel better than what he does on his own, game after game after game without Dave's crosses. Lighten up. Season hasn';t even started yet. Have some fun sometimes Metz. I don't think I have ever seen a negative post about Angel in any way.
