Kovacic might make it easy for the club this preseason if he keeps going at this rate. So irresponsible with his decision making in his own half.

hi guys, i read in the op that there might be a friendly against the impact?

i havent heard anything about this in the media. has it been confirmed?

the practice sessions seem to have gone well, i wasnt able to attend but from the promo videos the club put out it looked like a blast

I think we are just supposed to train at your facilities, i haven't heard anything about a game being played.

Don't think so. The schedule looks pretty tight, so I doubt they'll add another friendly on top of what we already have scheduled. Once we leave back to Europe after the Bayern game, I don't think there's a chance we're making that trip back to NA again. If there was a game in Montreal I would have made the trip down as well.

Haven't watched the game yet. Good to hear some of the youngsters (Llorente, Asensio and Odegaard especially) impressed.

He also hit the post, was super unlucky to score and had some nice moves.

Yup he had some really nice dribbles and unlucky not to score. He also made a couple of terrible turnovers as well. Very frustrating player to watch as he oozes class but still makes to many bonehead decisions. I wonder if Mateo will ever become the player he has the potential to be as he still makes the same mistakes as when he was 18.

Now that you bring it up, I could have sworn I read something about playing a friendly or at least a scrimmage. Guess it was scrapped.

What position did Asensio play? From the highlights he was all over the place.

He is just 21. Let's take a step back for a moment.

Just loan him to a club that will use him in midfield and let him develop his game and understanding more.

I'm surprised rarely anybody commented on Odeegard. He's 17 and after all of that criticism on him being a diva, playing bad etc you'd think people would compliment him when he plays well against freaking PSG.

AS has been targeting him to get at Flo. Shows how low they can go using 17 year old as bait. He's had a good season at Castilla as well. Yet, they made big fuss about him being on the tour while lesser players like Enzo also got selected.

Speaking of Enzo, I thought he had some nice touches in the game. He's not at a level where I see him being part of the first team, but also there's some potential there that makes me think he could be a late bloomer though... like father, like son, chip off the ole block? :D If he doesn't make it at Madrid, he can definitely play first team football in La Liga. The same goes for Febas.

Was at the match Wednesday... first time ever seeing RM. Great time (except the outcome of course)!

Have pics/video/etc will get that up soon w/ my match thoughts!

If you ever have the chance to see the team in person... you must go!

I've always read that Luca(GK) was the better of the 2 and the one who could make the first team one day.

Playing in goal, he'll certainly have less pressure to live up to his dad.

I think Enzo has interesting abilities.
He might do better in a deeper role in the center of the field. I like his ball control n ball protection skills
