A match late but if anyone wants to comment on the Asian pre-season tour matches and the Gamper trophy you can do it here. Not sure I will be able to catch these matches but I will try to catch the Gamper.

Next match is July 31st against FC Seoul.

I only caught the highlights of the first match. Nice goals from the newcomers. Saw some bad "highlights" from Rashford with a bunch of donkey touches. Looks like Flick has his work cut out for him.

Rashford was fine though a little tentative. He had as many "donkey" touches as Lamine.

That was a headline of a score. Christensen with the mid / long distance bomb goal. Would love to see more of that during the season.

Conceding 3 goals isn't good ... but it is only pre-season matches.

Lamine makes it 4. Raphinha with his high press steals the ball and lays of the ball for the tap in.

Only caught the last 30 minutes or so of the game. Good to see Fermin and Lamine with a brace. Fermin's shooting ability is so underrated, he's such a goal threat. IMO, as things stand, he should start in front of Olmo, who hasn't been quite up to standards of late.

Also, the little I saw from Martin just reaffirms my thoughts on him. I can't quite put my finger on it, but he's just such an underwhelming player and will cost us goals - and games by extension - just like last season. I just fail to see what Flick sees in him. Such a shame that we had to let Martinez go and kept Martin.

Balde is looking more and more like his old self, which is great news for us, cause when he's on he's up there with the best LB's in the game.

Both Dro and Toni looked good when they came on, I like both of them a lot, typical FC Barcelona midfielders. I really hope they get plenty of first-team minutes this season. We really have no need to buy midfielders for the foreseeable future, La Masia is stacked. I hope we keep both Casado and Bernal as well. We're fighting for silverware on every front this season and Frenkie won't be able to play everything. He can also get injured again.

    Clean sheet for J. Garcia.

Rashford isn't making his case anymore convincing with that miss, I already wasn't a fan of his signing... Still don't see anything he can do that Virgili can't. Of course I hope he can prove me wrong.

    Anyone seen Araujo's performance today?

Team is looking good. Certainly, a good deal of depth in the squad when healthy.

The stadium issue continues to be a concern. Looks like another season with basically no home advantage. I'm hearing that max capacity will be 27,000. WTF? Might as well spend another half season at Monjuic if that's the limit.

    I see that.

Barcelona’s hopes of returning to the Camp Nou have been further complicated after “200 deficiencies” were found by the European Clubs Association (ECA).

yeah, and that website is usually looking at things through rose-colored glasses. So, if they say its looking bleak its really bleak.

I assume, Montjuic is the plan B (hopefully not Estadi Cruyff?)

Add the SCN to the growing pile of lies and bullshyte that Laporta has piled on this summer.

Also, "Barça will be at the 1:1." (They aren't. )
"Barça will sign Nico." (They couldn't.)

    And there are others.

I dont think that Laporta has covered himself in glory this offseason.
