How has everyone's pre-season games been going?

Morton beat junior side Largs Thistle 7-1 on saturday.

Last night we beat local amatur side viewfield rovers 10-1 in the renfrewshire cup semi-final. I've never seen such a poor side, we should have scored over 20, no joke! We missed so many sitters!

You can see one of the goals here http://tontastic.no-ip.com/index.php?d=2004-07-13-RenfCupSemi-H-Viewfield&f=m So much time and space!

Hope for some harder opposition. We're playin a mini comp on Arran on saturday before heading off for the highlands next week. Then the refrewshire cup final a week on saturday against skint midden. There's also a wee rumour that we might play fulham, probably rubbish though!

We've only played 1 game so far. Got beat 3-2 by Raith Rovers, they came back from 2-0 down.

We're playing Cove Rangers, some other Highland team, Falkirk and Dunfermline in the Fife Cup semi final (our regional semi might be a wee bit tougher than yours!)

Hearts drew 1-1 with Canada B (Wyness) and today beat the Pacific Coast Soccer League All-Stars 4-1 (McKenna x3, Wyness).

Queen of the South have drawn with mighty Barrow and Threave Rovers - both 1-1.

Morton have just finished a their highland tour. We drew 1-1 with buckie on monday, beat lossiemouth 7-0 last night and beat champions clach 6-1 tonight. We've scored 51 goals in our 7 pre-season games, not exactly the greatest opposition but encouraging none the less, especially tonight's score.

Next up is the final against the midden on saturday, hopefully we can keep up our scoring record against them :D
