    :D

I think we will start to see some improvement from our lot. There's a different feel to a game against AC Milan than there is against MLS All Stars, preseason or not. We've played a couple really quality preseason games against Milan in recent years, and I think this one will follow suit. I hope to see Torres play, Hazard on the left for at least some of his time, and another strong performance from Essien, who has been one of the standouts on the tour so far.

If the game actually kicks off at 6:30, I will get to watch the first half. Knowing ESPN, it will be closer to 7:00:(

    1. Show some degree of overall improvement. (giveaways, defense, offensive punch, etc.)
    2. No injuries

I can't get excited for the actual preseason games. They are mostly worthless money grabs by the club. That's not a knock on Chelsea but an indictment on all the state of the game. I haven't seen one minute of preseason this year. Add to the fact that several players, including one of our most influential, are at the olympics and I can't muster too much excitement.

Two reasons i watch: 1. to see a bit of the new players (Hazard, Marin, Etc) and 2. to see a bit of the younger players (Piazon, Chalobah, Etc). i don't expect much from the actual games but it's a nice little preview of the squad's depth for the coming season.

I don't begrudge anyone from watching or going. After 2 - 3 tours now though I don't get jazzed up...unless the promise of after partying in Cris M's hotel room is there. Ain't no party like a Cris M party.

If true, it will be interesting to see whether Meireles plays further forward or we play a 4-3-3.

No KDB, Benayoun, Hilario, Turnbull, Kakuta, Josh... The likeliest to go on loan or be sold?

I'm always grateful for the pre-season tours and the important part they play in my life. Namely, a cure for insomnia.

wtf is meireles playing as a #10

ramires seems tired, Mikel is still slugish, IMO he doesnt care for these preseason wins

put on yossi/josh/someone who can pass instead of meireles

oh and hazard looks so good on the left...
