Hollywood and their leather diapers are geared up and on the road... the destination is Borussia Park with its "Bokelbrg" security detail.I like a 1-0 win, feels right to me!
Looking at our schedule and our first 6-7 games id say only a win at home on Friday will give our sails enough wind to not meltdown from the get-go!
Love to see Bennetts again moving the chains against their right tackles..he moves strongly like a Panzer and speeds up like an F-18 Hornet!

What's the point of VAR when the referee can still decide not to even give it a 2nd look on the sideline???? Two incidents both in the box and totally worthy of a PK!
So we add the VAR but the concept to minimize errors remains the same:whistling::whistling::sick::sick::confused::confused::speechless: IMO even worse than pre-var era . Especially the second situation Thuram fought his way into the box won the ball and was charged from behind by the Hollywood D mind me the player in red was pretty much-riding thurams back waist and trunk before he brought him down...still not even worth that "Mental Midget's" time which is called a referee to go over it on the sideline...so he simply leaves it for the other weirdo up in the box!!!
The game today had its own story but on the other end, Sommer was writing his own ...what a monster of a game by Sommer!
Our new coach is nothing short of Rose...so far i even rank him higher. We are playing differently with new starters.I like how we created a storm from the get-go that element of surprise was genius and we delivered a masterclass. Hutter also seems more attacking-minded than Rose and like his players fire the ball moor often from different areas into the box? Hollywood was caught in the headlights they seemed very lost and toothless...but we showed them too much respect too early after we scored thru Plea. You can't do that so early in the game against such a team! We were capable to keep our tempo longer after the goal. And how about Scally ???? The guy was almost a one-one-show today:)
The Subs were golden by Hutter...a bit late tho. We dominated the ending phases of the game and came close to scoring several times.
Benetts was super again, but he needed more time to stamp his mark on the game.I really wanted him a bit sooner on the pitch. The guy is fast strong and just knows how to move the chains:eek::ninja::speechless::whistling::devilish::devilish::devilish:
Wolf is getting more playing time vs last season and is showing his worth too:cautious::eek:
Much deserved point against the Buli Champions. Still a game like today's sometimes really makes you wonder about referees and that is there something else going on???

He had a few good ones pretty much one on ones, considering his size and physicality he seemed very slow last night.Man of his size up front should have just carried that ball inside along with Manu and himself. To me, he looked no so sharp and sluggish:whistling::speechless::confused: Stindl had a couple as well before the final 90 min!

I have a good feeling that the team has more balance with Hütter now and also the will and the punch to attack if needed. We're just a few games into the season though, so I take my impressions with a grant of salt at this point. I am very optimistic for tonight, Leverkusen is a much weaker team this year.

Despite the freak goal on the 2nd min ( which will be played for years to come on sports shows around the world) and its complement on the 8th min...this game was 100% lost when # 13 could not convert!!!!:speechless::sick::speechless::sick::confused:
The guy is old school as they come and great in the box and behind the box..but he has poor PK technique...and this isn't the first time:confused::sick::(:speechless:
We have so many players with better skillsets and techniques for PKs...yet Stindl is taking most of them.

Mentally weak club. Nothing ever changes-from the constant injuries to choking on momentum from game to game. Rinse & repeat.

Exactly. Showing up BIG at crunch time is what matters and dictates the fine line, not stats and other commercial media screen/articles... remember Lucky back in the day when PKs were all about power power & more power and sending the keeper together with the ball into the net and beyond? What happened to that effective almost full-proof style? Why fix it when it ain't broken?? Why not watch how it was done back then when it perfectly worked?
This new generation of "So-called" technical players with delicate striking and girlie footwork aiming the ball to a very tight angle is nauseating :(
As for injuries you said it best, we must be the record holder. Pretty much Tah handled our entire team from the get-go and the rest of Tah's fellow teammates did man-handle us...Leverkusen physically smashed mouth our every line. We could not win anything nor did we hit them hard as far as body cheques are concerned!
Kruse and co will follow suit next week:cautious:

So if another Major choke is in the making by tomorrow afternoon our predictions about our standing/points would materialize in style!!!!!!!! You got to feel for Hutter, he seems up to the task but this schedule and our next to none Yo-Yo mentality combined will be a mountain to climb:oops::sick:o_O:eek::ninja::ninja::ninja::ninja::ninja:

Aspirin and Hollywood and the Pseudo Borussia all kicked aRsS, the goats are moving steadily as well:sneaky::alien:

At least this week there were not huge questions marks and luck-related issues...pretty simple situation i must say!
Did we lose due to a tough schedule? Lack of skills? lack of PK scoring psyche? fighting against relegation? facing a top euro side? having one too many injuries?? No no and no..none of those!!!!:speechless::speechless::speechless:
One team played simple old-school textbook football and in their heads, they were more interested and passionate to get the W!
    On the other hand we...:whistling::whistling::whistling::whistling::whistling::whistling::whistling::whistling::whistling::confused::mad::(
You look at both goals and its embarrassing how we got owned..looked like a Monday afternoon warm-up session before hitting the showers:ROFLMAO::sick:
    -7 points and counting, full-throttle ahead lads:eek:

You never know, but we may end up as relegation candidates this season. Should, with our talent, but the schedule has not been kind so far.

Definitely Gladbach's night. Mo Dawho? gets tossed. Hazard's FK equalizer gets run into by Witsel. Hutter got his choices correct. The French kid played as though he had nothing Toulouse....

Zak attack got a "look at what I found" winner. Rose could not be allowed to come back and rub faces in it - Erling or not.

Boy o boy scally is light years ahead of his age...in terms of understanding the game thru and thru...seems like in his previous life he was also a pro footballer
    and that Kone...holllllleeeeee smokes!!!
I just want Hofmann not leaving ...but its almost impossible!
I was hoping to see benetts too but didnt happen.
Today was a simple example of wanting the "W" more than your opposing team!
Very happy to send Rose and Hazzard into the depths of the septic tank!
Not to mention against a team that most of the time beats us!
Much needed win on every level!

We did mention our schedule is a horror show this season...but this win today made it much more possible to pick up the momentum and run!
A loss would have really crippled us... especially mentally, Will this Gladbach build on this critical win today??? This is the story that has always haunted us!

Stindl the PK specialist at it AGAIN! You can tell from his body language its almost like he is shaking and second-guessing himself before standing behind the ball.A squad with so many quality players...STILL everybody including our coach is all STF up..this problem should be ADDRESSED...I am really baffled here, really??? A club like us can afford to constantly cluster fack PKs REALLY ???
I wanna throw up...love STINDL our squad without him will be half aRRss...but FFS, Why not give others a chance???? Yet better WHAT HAPPENED to old-school power PK takers..It's not even being old school...its PK 101...pull out the cotton balls from your ears a PKs first and foremost rule is power power and more power and there is a reason for it which am not going to explain here ( those who know ball know what i mean), anybody remembers how Lothar Bruns Hannes and Effe or Daems ...whats with this new delicate ballerina style PK taking???? Nowadays PK are game-changers a "god sent"...not us no other team can afford faccccking up PK's back to back game to game.WOB could have easily at least pulled a draw out of this game..we got lucky thanks to our new phenom "scally" and other lads...whereas if number 13 would have maybe decided to change his weird style...or the coach maybe would pick a few others to practice PKs...a plan B ha??? Is it really such a complicated rocket-science situation...that we can only go to Stindl week in week out????
