Brian must have noticed you take your sweet time getting to your seat. He didn't send me anything, since he knows I'm always there early passing out balloons.

Portland Timbers FC, however, did send me an email wanting me to rent a party suite for me and my friends. I think I'll pass.

I need to tell Brian I am always there on time. I need a second to get my beer and get situated. On that note, why is it the Houstonians are so late getting to their seats. I noticed that when I moved here a decade ago . . and it transcends any one sport.

It is ridiculous that people cannot find their seats in time. Come on. Brian and the rest of the Dynamo need to score goals in the first 5-10 minutes so people will feel the pressure.

I'm usually late because I'm too busy eating at Chick-Fil-A

The chick Fil A fiasco makes me laugh. You all know I'm the resident crazy left wing liberal, but geez. If you don't like the owners politics, don't eat his sandwiches. End of conversation!

People have way too much time on their hands if they can protest a chicken sandwich.

    It's chicken.
    It's the South.
    It's election year.
Do the math, it's a lightening rod for our shitty media to run with.

Back to football, NJ Red Bulls and their weak ass supporters can suck it.
    2-0 to the Orange!

I went in 3 times today to the one on 59 at Kirby with a Dynamo shirt on and the manager said "hey, there was another Dynamo guy that used to come in 3 times a day all the time . . . . he had a #7 jersey on, I think his name was Landin"

In my travels I've been to a couple places where I've seen some insane levels of poverty and there are still areas that are poorer than the areas I've travelled to. That angers me more than a fight over donations from an owner of a privately owned business that has a right to spend his money anyway he wants just like people have a right to determine how they're going to spend theirs.

The wife and I had decided days ago to eat at Chick Fil A. This evening in solidarity with the belief that everyone in this country is entitled to their opinion and that the demonization of individual belief is unAmerican, we headed for the establishment in Pearland (which used to be a very nice place to live until those 90,000 people moved in).

Problem was - that in Pearland there were at least 50 people standing in line outside the bloody place, the parking lot was full, and there were about 65 vehicles in the drive thru line.

We therefore decided as true Mericans that perhaps our beliefs were not that entrenched so we headed on over to Wendys and grabbed a "Son of Baconator" instead.

Funniest comment on the Houston Chronicle piece about the Gay/ChickFilA thing today "If we really hated Gays - We'd Make Them Get Married"

Would you stand in line to support this guy if he expressed the opinion that God wants us to have sex with little boys? Would it be unamerican to not stand in that line?

Not at all. I did not mention morals or pass judgement on them. I responded to the position that people that went to Chik-Fil-A were doing it to support a constitutional right to free speech. I suspect that they were supporting the right to say something that they agree with and my response was a round about way to point out that it didn't really have anything to do with free speech. More like they are supporting the comments but won't say that they oppose Gay marriage.

Man up and say you're supporting the guys belief system. Hiding behind the Constitution is a chicken by product that wouldn't taste good on white bread with a pickle.

Is Ashe going to play this week?

Ok, I might be wrong, but I think Bruin was working out by himself yesterday doing some step exercise things, and I don't think he ever joined in the full team trainings and scrimmage. I say I might be wrong because I kept meaning to check better but kept forgetting.

I support Gay Marriage, I'm a liberal, and also an Atheist. I still ********ing eat at Chick-Fil-A. I don't agree with them, but we're in a Christian, Right-leaning nation....I choose my battles when it comes to politics.

Now enough about that. I hope our D can overcome the NJPC's offense. I'm pretty sure it can, but this is it...for FIRST PLACE!!!!
