Ok ok, teasing aside, Japan is captained by Homare Sawa and coached very well by Norio Sasaki. This will be a very interesting game to watch. Japan has felled a number of giants enroute to their first ever final, and the US needs to be on guard for the great passing game 撫子日本 has employed.

    Everyone excited? GET PUUUUUMPED! :D

Are changes in the final lineup coming?!
    Pia:
"I just want to enjoy this moment but we will look back at the games we played and figure out who will be in the starting lineup is in the final. That's one thing - the second part will be who's coming off the bench because that player will probably change the game."

Japan is going to be a pain to beat. Their strategy clearly frustrated Sweden and Germany to the point where they were tiring out and resorting to unnecessary fouls.

This might be a mod question but can we have separate threads for pregame, ingame and postgame? The other threads get upwards of 70 pages and it might be nice to separate these out? Esp since we are in the final, in 3 days, so the pregame alone could be well into 40 or 50 pages.
