Great, a six man bench. They really couldn't find a seventh guy to pencil in there? Even if he won't play?
Johnson in alone again and he hits the post. The fans in the south stands are laughing at our luck right now and rightly so. Couldn't ask for better chances.
Toronto possession 41 per cent...at least they're consistent. Yeah, not sure why they even bother dressing Aceval. They could have put him in at CB when Hall went out, (and put Ecks back where he belongs). Time to "mutual consent" him out as well.
you can't call the first one bad luck, Johnson simply misplayed it. players clear-in routinely feel the need to get right on top of the goalie before they release a shot, but by doing so all they're actually doing is increasing the keeper's chance of making the save. happens at every level of soccer and i'll never understand it.
Are you f'king serious??? Do Eckersley and Henry not speak the same language here? How can both of them back away from the near post/goal line when Mattocks has a clear shot on goal?
Emory is a clown. he was pointing and barking while Mattocks was sneaking in behind him for a through ball. maybe he should focus on not being a liability.
Any idea who we bring in as a sub if we're behind and need to bring in some more firepower? Or if one of the forwards gets an injury?
I think i liked watching this team more when they were 0-9. At least back then I still had some hope left. Plus with a more attacking style they were never truly out of the game.
