    • Why not stop by the Canadian National Exhibition (CNE, if you will!) after the match, or even before it? The CNE runs from August 17 to September 3 this year.

So this is officially the only TFC home game that matters of the rest of the season. Not losing would be the best result.

Previously, i had hopes that tfc might be able to pull a result out of this one somehow. But based on how they have been playing of late, they are going to get crushed if they play this game of kick the ball to the other team.

I remember very well the talk before the last home game vs. Santos.

We'll have to see but TFC isn't a team likely to roll over and play dead.

So Mariner is saying he'll start Hall in net again. I wonder if there's something going on here. Kocic is not injured.

A few weeks ago it came out that his wife was expecting triplets, but I'm not sure when that's happening. It could very well be happening right now which is why Freddy Hall keeps starting.

Whatever happened to Stefan Frei? I didn't realize he would be out this long. Is he back next year?

He's out for the year because of that knee injury he suffered earlier this season.

And apparently, Bitchy won't be there for this one. A new bird named Chestnut is filling in.

Not really sure why an expectant wife is reason to sit out a game. I mean he's on the bench.

Santos doesn't look like they are playing all out in this game. They had the clearest opportunity on goal though with Peralta whiffing on a wide open goal. Toronto having difficulty moving into the box on Santos. Best chance was an off balance header from Hassli that went wide.

Yikes that was one of the longest back passes I've ever seen from the Santos end of the field to the Toronto keeper.

Pretty meh half. If Toronto really wants any shot of advancing out of this group they need a win today and they really haven't been creating a ton of chances. They've done well on defense for the most part atleast.

1st half over no score, kinda lacking in action, hoping for better from Toronto in the 2nd.

Yeah defense held but then again Santos don't look like they are going balls out at all.
