I'm curious to see what line up TFC fields. Not that the backups did badly at all last game.

The back-ups did a fantastic job. I see the same starting line-up.

Something tells me his hip flexor will be just fine for Wednesday.

Another good performance from a mainly younger squad.

I was hoping we'd see Ottawa in the final but hopefully TFC take this seriously and beat Vancouver. I'd love to see what this TFC squad can do against the international competition.

Also, it was good to see Giovinco get on the field for a few minutes. Hopefully he'll be able to continue to learn from watching Hamilton and make the most of these chances and then maybe in the future he'll even be able to snag a start or two for himself.

^actually the biggest disappointment of the night for me was that up 2, with 15 minutes to play against 10 men....our coach decided that was the time to bring on Mr. Giovinco.

I was hoping to see Ottawa too. It would've been the easiest road game of the year for people to get to.

That would have kept him out for 3 weeks without any playing time. I think it was a good call putting him in yesterday.

I think it was the right thing to do. Better he gets his first pitch time coming back from injury at a time when the game is largely in the bag and the pressure is low for a few minutes than starting him off in a league game with the entire match to play and the result largely uncertain.

sure...if you leave out "with 10 more days of recovery time" out of the description of the June 18th match ;)
