Give the airline a tip for sparing you the torment. This wasn't worth watching. I'm Googling "how to unwatch a soccer match" right now.
Something came up around the house at halftime. I helped put a crossbar on the roof of an SUV. It was a much better decision than watching the second half of the game.
Ended up hanging out with my wife, sister, and brother-in-law. We were at a bar with sports on TV. They said they couldn't get Altitude for the game, but I think they just didn't want to depress the patrons. Sadly, we also were not that concerned about missing the game. That seems to be where the team is heading - Apathy. I doubt KSE cares, but in a real business that would be a sign of emminent death.... rod.
After this match, when referring to the Rapids "watch" and "party" don't belong in the same sentence.
I have absolutely no idea what game Pablo was watching: http://www.denverpost.com/2017/07/29/colorado-rapids-lose-to-san-jose-earthquakes-no-panic/ 2 stone cold penalties? I remember Hairston's clear dive and that was the only thing resembling a possible PK. The rest of his quotes aren't any better.
Or a bigger WTF is having a road game 'strategy' of going down a goal and then hoping for a pair of penalties late.
Good teams make their own luck. If you play well, good things will happen (penalties, lucky bounces, etc.) more often than not. This isn't a situation we're we got fv<ked by the ref in late second half stoppage time. This is a situation where the team couldn't muster a legitimately dangerous attack within the 18-yard box and somehow think that would warrant a penalty? All of this is interconnected. If you're flat-out not playing good enough, don't expect game-changing calls to go your way. ~~~ On another note, the game is a prefect illustration why there is no good reason Pablo should still be our head coach. The main thing I noticed during this game, and many other games prior to this one, is that movement off-the-ball when we have possession is poor or non-existent. It practically screams at me from the TV. We are constantly outnumbered when we're in the opponents half, and I never see teammates make meaningful runs into space when we have the ball. Players either don't come forward to join the attack, or they're all bunched up together and don't allow any good passing lanes to develop. Thats not a talent problem. Thats a coaching problem. Pablo been at the helm for almost 4 years and his tactical understanding of the attacking side of the game has not evolved or improved at all in that time. It doesn't matter what players we have or who is in the lineup. This "system" is so broken and dysfunctional that it prohibits good players from even having a chance at being successful. All roads lead to Pablo being fired. It is clear at this point that his coaching is a major hindrance to the team's performance.
Hmm, are am starting to understand how Trump came up with all his false Narratives, probably has PM's post game interviews on file.
A K.S.E. spokesman has noted it would be very unusual for a team to fire a coach during the pre-season. Otherwise you are correct.
From the Rapids "Ten things we learned" article on the San Jose game: Nathan Sturgis! Last time the Rapids won in San Jose, coach Chris Leitch was an unused sub for San Jose:
