Be careful, just because you have the same "hair" style as Waibel, wear a Waibel jersey, and believe the Waibel's WW commandments are applied to you too, does not mean you get to make a Pre/In/Post Game thread.... w/o a poll

    Very very bald move indeed

    ... :D

A Houston win combined with Columbus, Seattle, and LA losing would be nice...a Chivas, Colorado tie would be nice as well...

Corey with a hat trick (only because he will be on the left)...Pat with a shutout...Blanco with a red card...Jasen Anno with a load of heckling from the stands...

    :D

Does anyone know expected attendance for this game? I didn't see a projection in the attendance thread...

Seeing as how this game is tied in to the Beckham game, the fact that Blanco should be there and the fact we pulled 22,000 last season for this fixture, I'm hoping for about 18,000.

Big game. Let's hope the boys play the exact opposite of the way they played against Dallas.

One thing I hate is inconsistency is, whether its refs or how the team plays. This is out of character for the Dynamo and I, for one am tired of hearing the excuses, that "we did not come out with intensity".

That is BS, you are professionals and are in the SS race. Tired legs, heat etc....F that...man up, take responsibility, fix the problems, and let's get a win tomorrow!

    Amen!!
"you are professionals and are in the SS race. Tired legs, heat etc....F that...man up, take responsibility, fix the problems, and let's get a win tomorrow!". No excuses! Let's kick some yankee a$$ and give Blanco his first of two losses next week!

I want to have a positive outlook on this match but after our last three matches (NE, DC, FC Dallas), I'm not overly optimistic. I know we won the DC match but we let three in and that is really unlike the Dynamo.

    I'll go with a 2-1 win but I wouldn't bet on it.

    ...
All three players are expected to rejoin the Dynamo in time for their MLS game on Saturday, August 15, against Real Salt Lake, and their CONCACAF Champions League home game on Wednesday, August 19, against Salvadoran champion Isidro Metapán...
The next WCQ, 9/5 v. El Salvador in Salt Lake, falls on a Dynamo off week...

So forgive me for what might possibly be the dumbest question I've ever asked but is Wade Barrett just not an option anymore? He's not injured anymore, is he? He hasn't played in weeks it seems. If so, I'm not saying he should or should be an afterthought but I will say that I'm surprised he's an afterthought.

Funny how at the beginning of the season, many peeps wanted him out. He was a liability, etc...now the tables have turned...we need bodies, so I am not sure why Wade is not an option. He is good to go.

Only two things will stop it: lightning or a hurricane.

It's blue skies over Robertson at the moment.

...or a tree falling down on a transformer. And all 3 have delayed Dynamo games, by a few minutes, a day, and a few weeks.

    But not today. :D
