Could be interesting, considering what happened to Carolina in their last game. They still aren't very good, but can't imagine they won't have some kind of fire lit under their asses. Any points will do for the Rowdies in this one, IMO

Ten minutes in and I remember why I hate the Railhawks. Dirtiest club in the league. They hold, grapple, and push constantly. Hopefully we can avoid sinking to their level.

What a finish! Rowdies do not quit. We screwed up royally to start the second half and we gathered ourselves, dominated the ball and were rewarded for it. You have to love it!

Anyone who doesn't think the NASL is fun to watch just isn't paying attention.

That was the craziest game I have seen in awhile. I could have done without the Rowdies going to sleep in the back for 3o mintues or so in the middle of the match, but still, this team has the spirit to win. Keep this up and we could win the title.

Mulholland was ace as usual. Great service on kicks, two assists, and a brilliant goal to get us back into the game. I can't believe I am saying this, but the Shane Hill goal was a thing of beauty as well. Great finish by the big lummox.

Back to my earlier comment, I hate Carolina. Dirty and whiners. Such an attractive combo. We for the most part kept above the fray. I was afraid we were going to get dragged into a slugfest after we went down by two goals. The ref called most of the Railhawks hacks, but he should have tossed a few more cards their way.

I am not even going to hold a grudge against Ambersley for choking on the PK. He played well besides that play.

Oh, and I hope they don't actually pay the Railhawks PBP guy, since he called Yamada 'YAMA' for seventy five minutes.

Agreed, but I have to admit I watched on a so-so Ustream feed and had to look away in the second half... Didn't turn it off, but I couldn't watch... glad I saw that crazy ass ending.
(also, the announcers did nearly a dozen shout-outs to the folks (MOB) at Crowley's) :speechless:

I'm guessing you don't realize that everybody on the Rowdies, including the coaching staff and the front office, calls him 'Yama

Y'all played a good game. Hill overreacted but we did gain some ground on the throw in before the 3rd goal. Rowdies never laid back while Carolina tried to ride out the last 10 minutes. A point well earned.

Sir, you are as civil as the Ustream announcers... did you attend the game or watch it online?

I honestly did not. Thanks for clueing me in. Just kind of strange that our own broadcast team has never referred to him as such. It will have to grow on me, not exactly a great nickname :(

I was there live. The game felt like the Rowdies deserved a point but the Hawks had 8 minutes where they looked like the team we want to see. Still a punch in the gut.

yeah, the Rowdies had the ball for the other 82 minutes. So no surprise we earned a point. :D

Does Al Lang have on-site AEDs? Sounds like you guys are gonna need them if the Rowdies keep relying on late-minute heroics. :p
