And on Miller's behalf, he's not a CB. One in training maybe. Really, (gulp), Watts is better at CB. My issue that half was the midfield. Did Boateng touch the ball twice? Other than free kicks--and he does them well--Gashi is non-existent. After scoring last week, Saied was awful.
When Plata was released, he created 12-15 yards of space very quickly. Miller did force him to a more acute angle, but Plata never should have been unimpeded in full stride to receive the pass. I sure do miss Cronin on plays like this. Cronin, BTW, took a knock and had to exit tonight's Minnesota match in the first half.
The only reason is everyone else is awful. The replacement is da Fonte. This team needs to be blown up. Last week I was the first to jump ship. I made it longer than a couple others. I knew drinking makes things better.
