Longer than that. He injured his ankle, did some rehab, played for the reserves a bit, re-injured his ankle, never fully recovered and decided to opt for the surgery.

Today's pre-gamery (see also the game-day guide that zolafan linked above for some good info): Houston Chronicle Dynamo try to stay cool during slump More surgery for Davis/About Saturday's Game Salt Lake Tribune Long road trip will make or break RSL
Might be our first game where we have rain during the game and not just before the game. Oh well, at least it will be dry at the Mezz afterwords.
Huh??????? It's all hot and sunny over here, I just got out of the pool, it's the first Saturday that really feels like summer in a long, long time. Don't talk to me about rain.
On the RSL board, (the match thread) it is mentioned about this site - http://www.rslfm.com/ where the Houston vs RSL game can be watched via sopcast. Does anyone on here know anything about sopcast? ta muchly!
It sprinkled over here a while ago and, while sunny, the dark clouds are ominous...Nobius is right, it very well could rain. Bring your orange ponchos!
I sold that! ----------------^ The ad agency for the Dynamo (www.thehucksters.com) had about 20 people (yours truly included) distributing and posting flyers at every community, private, public, and ones I've never heard of college in the Houston area. They got the satellite schools like UHCL too. Hopefully the rain doesn't keep people from coming out. Btw... At UH we have a new advertising medium called Inverted Advertising (www.invertedadvertising.com) which beams 30 second videos/animations onto the floor at the UC and UC Satellite. Its pretty cool- check it out. (about 5 mb so give time to download) http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z237/cougarclaws/newdynamoad.swf
Radar shows a bunch of green blobs out in the Gulf. Those things usually move this way, but who knows what parts of the metro areas get the rain.
I've used sopcast and tvants to watch games, usually fed through China or somewheres (gambling sites). It usually works well, you have to download the software (free). Just make sure you got your virus protection.
