well its always good to have a friendly its kind of a waste of a fifa day... i would have prefered Pinto to just call a all home based team and play Panama again like we did last year.....

calling euros to play honduras seems like a waste even if they do bring Suazo :(

I say this is def a Ospina start day :)

this hasn't been officially confirmed....I don't think it should have a thread until we see a headline that reads: colombia to play honduras.

At the time this is just a rumour...

I'm not even sure if I would even want to go. Mexico or U.S vs Colombia will be hell a lot more interesting.

Mexico? We played them already and US would be okay. I actually don't mind Honduras because Pinto will feel free to test out a good amount of young'ens....maybe we'll see Hidalgo, Montero and others....

thats what I am saying !!! but for this he could just use a non fifa day !! like against Panama who are alot better than Honduras and if honduras doesnt bring Suazo then this game is completly useless

tho Ospina, Cristian Zapata,Josmier,Montero,Hilgado starting would be sweet, this game will def be like a B-C team cause if we use our WCQ team and dont score like by 4 Im going to be very sad and worried

Re: Pre Game March 26 Colombia Honduras in Miami

    -----------------------Ospina-----------------------------
    Zuniga--Cristian- Josmier/Andres Felipe - Armero/Cassiera
    -----Elkin Soto----------Edwin Valencia---------- Guarin
    -----------Satlin Motta/Pino/ L.Mosquera(Santa Fe)-----------
    ----------------Montero------ Hilgado-------------------

think this is a good 2nd string team, almost everyone here has been called up by pinto or named by pinto

ELkin soto I pray he is back soon and can play if not Pino

Main thing I want is Ospina to get his 1st real start and too see Elkin again :) , and maybe give Pino his 1st start if he is playing in Belgium

Also this is just a team off the top of my head, and the season hasnt started yet come March it will def change but this to me is a B/C team

players who come 2010 have a great shot, but need 1st caps or NT experience.... also really sad Zapata and Josmier never actually played much for the NT

Alot of countries have a couple of players abroad, but what is your coaching all about? You have our previous National team coach at your helm, which might help the team and will prob. work against us. However, it is not about how many players you have abroad...man, do you know how many players we have abroad that we don't use (Edwin Congo anyone...)? There are guys in our Colombian league that we would pick over guys currently playing in La Liga in Spain. It's more about the techinal ability of the players and their upbringing in competitive and quality futbol. No offense, but Honduras isn't known for its high quality and high skilled futbol strategies. Its just the truth.

ur attack doesnt seem that bad but after watching Copa Oro ur goalie and defense was awful

but even if u guys are good u arent a team we would ahve to bring a full european side.... its def a game where Pinto will try to use home based players which isnt that insulting because our league is 3rd in South America

I am not saying we will beat u 7-0 or even win.... all I am saying is I want to try out an all new team, which we really cant do playing against France or a team like Uruguay

Re: Pre Game March 26 Colombia VS. Honduras in Miami

he has called Pino and Monaco said NO give him time, is what the coach said because Pino is cocky and doesnt know how to play on a team

so dont blame Pinto, sometimes coachs tell him shit and he listens to the coach who is always with a player

like same thing with Edwin Valencia who Ath Parm didnt want to give him up to the NT

Yo tambien, but to those nay sayers look at the facts of honduras vs colombia since 1992 all games have been close, and colmbians dont think highers of yourselfs than you really are, in S.America you guys are below Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay and at the same level of Ecuador (which we beat), and peru. so before you want to get friendlies a against portugal and France get to a higher level.

Righhhht, thats why we are 3rd in South America and 4th in qualifiers....

We, along with Brazil and Paraguay, are the only undefeated teams in South America during the WCQ. And we have only been scored on ONCE!!!

We have two libertadores titles and tons of finals and semi-finals played on international club competitions.

Our league was recently deemed the 3rd best in South America, after Brazil and Argentina. It is also considered 9th in the entire world in recent respectiable futbol studies.

We have some of the best goalies and central defenders in the world! One at Atl Madrid, Sevilla, 2 Inter of Milan (one is a 9 year undisputed starter and semi-captain of the top team in italy, he captains humberto suazo!) Udinese de Italia.

We have arguably one of the best strikers playing Argentina, along with the 3rd best player of the Sudamericana playing defense in Argentina for Arsenal de Sarandi.

We have two players amongst the top 7 signings in first division in France.

We have arguably the best young defender in Italy.

We just beat Argentina, what about you?

We already have a friendly against France, what about you?

We are not saying you are a bad team, but please don't let nationalism get in the way of reality, do you honestly think you are a better team than us?!!! Our league teams participate in Copa Libertadores and do fairly well (semi-finals, finals, titles). We have well known historical players that have been named on top lists. We have top players in France, Italy, Spain, Brazil, Argentina. I am really sorry but Honduras doesn't have that. Please don't take offense to reality.

yeah yeah, chech the stats honduras has beaten colombia five times to three time u beat us. U definetly have better history than us, but u say ur at the level of paraguay, brazil, and argentina, u made my day with that joke, colombia has not made a WC since 98 and then u say ur at the level of paraguay argentina and brazil makes me laugh. There is still a whole lot of qualifiers left and Colombia are knowned for great expectations and great let downs (coincidentally honduras is alot like that too). Honduras is not by far on that level either but dont underestimate honduras u will get ur money's worth in that game.
