Pre Euro 2004 Tri-Nation Tournament?

    I've been waiting this for a while. I'm glad they've got one team organised, just 2 more to go.

    Ok, forgive me if I'm being thick. But tri-nation means three countries, of which England must be one, so either Japan is part of this which means they only need one more country to complete the set, presumably European. Or the Japan friendly is separate, which means England is still to announce the two other tri-nation countries.

    That BBC article is a touch vague about what this Japan match is. A one-off or a provisional tournament game. As usual the FA is completely useless when it comes to confirming anything either way.

    Hah! I'm so dense! I was thinking it would be three other teams and then England. Well it won't be much of a tournament then.
