Does anyone want to go out after the daft and have a cold one or two? Also what time is everyone heading down to draft?
Just out of curiosity, if one belatedly decided to attend the draft and just wanted to waltz up the day of the event and get a ticket at the door, would that be kosher? In any case, I wouldn't be adverse to post-draft festivities.
The majority of people don't have a ticket (I think they only gave 300 tickets- the 50 reserved and the 250 they gave to others who didnt get the 50), so yes its okay to walk up, your seats will just be towards the back.
man I am mucho bummed. I finally got a VIP ticket because someone else backed out. I accepted iton Monday and now I find out today I have to attend a meeting tomorrow at the same time as the draft. This sucks a$$
Feel free to have someone leave leave it at "will call" the main convention desk or somewhere similar for "Dave Schulz". I'm going about noonish, but I have no ticket as yet.
Draft was cool, but the post draft meeting with the players and assistant coaches was the highlight. Players all talked about Wolff, the coming year, Lamar Hunt fended off Spoon about stadium issues (I personally covered Spoons mouth to shut him up) and Meola told us how he ended Wolff World Cup. Meola says CALL WHB 810 if we want coverage cause Kietzman and Leebo like soccer but we have to call to get coverage. Not a lot of info here, but Meola finally signed some stuff!!!
See, now that was bullpoop. I just wanted to get one or two more questions in before he had to run. But oh no, my best buddie Ben decided to cover my mouth. *Cough* jackass. That was fun though. Tony sat right in front of Salty and I. It was interesting listen to him talk.
