According to La Stampa the decision on the new coach was made a few days ago, and the lucky one is Cesare Prandelli, supposedly. He won the competition with Deschamps because he's cheaper, good with young players and for his ability to handle the difficult financial situation at Parma.

Prandelli will bring the physical trainer Venturati (goodbye Ventrone), while Bangsbo will remain in his role as assistant coach.

Prandelli will come from Parma with Gilardino who will be the vice-Trezeguet (the journalist implies here that Trez stays), Blasi and one defender who will probably be Ferrari (although most papers say Bonera is more likely to join us, while Ferrari may end up at AC Milan).
In addition Moggi will give Prandelli Kroldrup, Jankulovski and Kapo.

I don't want Ferrari joining Milan. To my mind, securing his services would represent a bigger coup than recruiting the impressive Alberto Gilardino. He is a young, stylish defender, the sort of player the Old Lady has been unable to attract in the past.

Bonera is good, too. I'd take him. Sounds like Juve will be Parma North.

My main concern is that, amid all the changes, Juve regain their identity. I still cannot get over how side which very nearly carried all before them at home and abroad last season can all of sudden look so flat and unmotivated and lose to the likes of little Lecce! Eating humble pie really sucks!

    This is an intriguing idea.
Bring Bonera, Ferrari, Marchionni and Gilardino over.
If Prandelli is to be the coach it should be with that specific stipulation.

Parma already has provided Juventus with the likes of Buffon, Di Vaio and Thuram.
