FWIW worth in regards to Schellas' man management, I got called a spy at one of the first preseason practices with him. I was doing a 2 man defending drill that I had never seen before, and the other defender and I got beat a couple of times throughout the demonstration. Schellas then told me if I could not learn the drill, that I was a spy. Keep in mind, he stopped the drill and the entire team was watching. Talk about a confidence booster!
A good analogy might be back when the Ravens won the Super Bowl with Trent Dilfer. We all knew what Bilick was saying in press conferences when he said "as long we can avoid turnovers, execute our game plan and rely on the defense" that he was really saying "as long as Dilfer doesn't screw up, we can win". He just never really said it. Of course, this season it wouldn't matter if FCD had Joe Montana...
He called me a "spy", as in I was there to ruin his practices or something to that extent. Didnt make a whole lot of sense to me either, but I did understand that he wasnt telling me great job!
