    Viking chimes in...
and loads of notes from practice, both on trialists and on roster players.

    An allocation for Gustavo Figueroa???

If so - it would be best to wait till August before we rush in and use our last allocation without some due diligence research. Our offense needs help, but I don't want to blow our allocation early.

And boy do I hope they make that move and sign Reyes. He doesn't even have to start right away, but when he gets up to speed again - I like our defense and the ability to get forward.

wow, I still can't believe how many players we have that are either injured or tied up, this is sad. We have the makings of an amazing team but we need everyone on the same page. Oh wait thats the story of the Burn's life.

Viking mentions in his article that he thinks Nhlecko may score 10 goals this year. I think that's possible, but I think what gets looked over with Nhlecko is his ability to provide assists. He didn't look to have much of a finishing touch last year, but his role as a target forward gives him the opportunity to hold the ball and distribute to our other scorers, unlike most of our other forwards. Toni got 4 assists in 792 minutes last year, which is an extraordinarily high number for any forward - I'll be very interested to see how this plays out in 2004.

(Nhlecko averaged .45 assists/90 last year; the next closest Burn with more minutes was Brad Davis, at .24)

Some of us never took (or have long forgot) our high school Spanish.

Would it be possible to have the feature articles available in English as well?

Bet the ranch is the same article in English. I am trying to post them at the same time.

    Thanks for reading

Viking and Chamo are both writting their articles in Spainish and English. The Both versions will appear within a a space or two of each on the front page of the site.

    Thanks, guys.

One suggestion: I think it might be helpful if Viking's columms in Spanish were given a Spanish title rather than an English one.

That way, there may be fewer confused readers who might think, "Oh Viking decided to write this month's column in Spanish instead of English".

You mean "Fan the Passion" Each commentary has it's own title.
I suppose if you mean "Fan the Passion" I could have a graphic made with that same phrase in Spainish...

it will be easier to just put a subtitle stating it's the Spainish translation of the other.

Buzz - I think the subtitle is a perfect solution!

One more idea. Several times I have wished that the titles to various pieces included a DATE. That way, one can tell at a glance when it was written (especially on the archives)

well the top article has a date on the main page, after that they have dates on the article pages themselves. The archives should be the same with a date on each article page. It would take a ton of coding to add dates to each story title.

Leave the old ones - maybe try adding to title going forward - so you can see date without opening each and every article.
