Gildarkevin and I are both refereeing at the Potomac Memorial Tournament over Memorial Weekend. Is anyone else on here going to be refereeing there?

    Claymore?

Actually, we're now 2/3 of a referee team for 2 games on Saturday morning on Soccerplex Field #5 in case anyone is around.

Or in case Claymore can get ahold of the assignor to finish off that group.

Sorry guys, I'm done for the season - I ruptured my patellar tendon two weeks ago while doing MD State Cup games. The season from hell continues...

Wow that's not good at all. My dad pulled a hamstring about 2 minutes into some games last weekend and thinks he's done for the better part of this year now as well.

Where were you working when it happened? I was at the Polo Grounds on Saturday the 26th and there were some really dicey fields there, especially the sidelines, which were just waiting for someone to do an ankle or knee. It was so bad that I was "running the line" about 3 yards in from touch to protect myself.

I was out at the Soccerplex. The fields were fine, I just had been dealing with some tendonitis from last year and a sudden sprint proved to be too much for the knee.

I'm really sorry to hear that.

Well, if you're going to go out and watch any games over Memorial Day weekend, PM either me or kevbrunton and we can let you know where we'll be at Soccerplex and when.

I hope you're back out there soon.
