Well with the new news of the silverdome I don't think they will keep the name. What names do you like and/or think would be great?
With it having not just a soccer stadium but a concert hall and another arena for basketball/hockey it should be called the Pontiac Event Center. or something like that.
If the remodel actually happens, there would almost certainly be a naming-rights sponsor that would take care of this for us.
Winner winner chicken dinner. Think Chrysler Stadium or something along those lines. Naming rights to the stadium would be sold to highest bidder just like all other stadiums.

there's nothing to stop one company from owning the naming rights to multiple stadiums... the NBA has the American Airlines Center as well as the American Airlines Arena, for example. I imagine that, since the Silverdome name is so engrained, any naming rights deal would be along the lines of Chrysler Park at the Pontiac Silverdome. Even though the name won't make sense anymore.
Here is a story about renaming the Palace so this all applies and names most of the companies have been listed already. they changed the name of the arena in Vancouver, it's Rogers Arena now surprised they left Dominos off that list... or La-Z Boy or Kelloggs, etc.
