The Glasgow Evening Times is reporting that we're going to play England at Wembley in May. They're also talking about it on the english forum. http://www.eveningtimes.co.uk/sport/display.var.1991096.0.fab_oks_scots_v_england_friendly.php
i'd like to see it go ahead. haven't played them since 1999 so it'll be interesting to see how this current crop of players match up against them. also, it's the closest burley will get to a competitive fixture before the qualifying starts for the world cup.
what's the point? shouldn't we be playing teams that are better than us, to improve our chances of qualification.
Depends, we were certainly better than them throughout Euro qualifiers. But I can't see how they won't improve now that McClaren's gone. I could have done better with England than McClaren! It'll be good to play England again and good, looking forward to WC qualifying.
it ain't happening. burley has decided against it. why didn't he just say what he really means... they've suffered enough this year without us gubbing them at wembley as well. we decided to show them leniency.
