I signed a slovenian striker called kozar.
he has 20 acceleration and 20 pace.
    pace always kills defences.

thats why i like to get maris verpakovskis on loan from kiev.

That's very true though, which is why I partnered Torres and Aguero up front for every match they were fit. Mista never got a chance in the team.

My 1860 team is absolutely stacked now. Signed very good players on frees also, like Nani, Manuel Fernandes, Joao Moutinho, Mauro Zarate and Nicolas Millan. If I knew how to post a picture, I would.

Also, any of you guys find any great regen (re-generated) players?

Regenerated as in saving their career, or a new player named "Bobby Charlton", etc?

    08-09

    ---------Carlos Vela/Fred* ----Richard Heath/Fred*
    Jose Antonio Reyes------------------Alexander Hleb
    ----------Lassana Diarra---Francesc Fabregas
    Gael Clichy---Leandro Gioda---Kolo Toure---Lionel Scaloni
    --------------------Igor Akinfeev

I continually rotate between Vela/Fred/Heath as straight starters - with Fred/Heath being excellent off the bench as well. Henry is still world-class here - I just prefer the other things :p

Subs: Giuseppe Scurto, Armand Traore, Mathieu Flamini, Mario Santana, Alessandro Rosina, Thierry Henry

    This team becomes unstoppable.

    Cost:
    Scurto - 5m.
    Lassana Diarra - 5m.
    Gioda - 7.8m
    Akinfeev - Free
    Scaloni - 2.2m
    Fred - 12.5m
    Santana - 3.5m
    Heath - Homegrown
    Vela - Homegrown

I sell a bunch of players at the club and easily cover those costs. I'm also able to sign guys on frees who become world-class, but because I make them 2nd choice to those starters, they don't get valued same, though they are.

Guys like Rosina, Tales, Zieler, Ricci, Akinfeev...

Guys like Lee Butcher, Andy Gray, A.Jones, O. Mathews, S.Mathews, J. Lowe, come up through the academy later and become class...

I left the Livi game behind for a while and started a game with Roma. Admittedly no great challenge given the players at my disposal but both Milan sides usually push me hard domestically. Still no sign of Juventus though and there is nothing I can do to rescue them as I only have the top leagues running thanks to the way the 360 version runs. Perhaps they might make an appearance next season. I'm going to create a new save of my current game at the end of the season and go on a whistle stop tour of top flight European clubs to get a few achivements then I'll return to my Roma dynasty. Until I do that here is my current team:

    ---------------- Suazo
    -- Taddei --------Totti ----- Mancini
    ----------- Aquilani - De Rossi
    Chivu - Mertesacker - Mexes - Panucci
    ----------------- Amelia

Subs: Curci, Richards, Virga, Brighi, Virga, Montolivo, Lucarelli

    tip..
look up the injury history of the oppositions best players.
if a player has a long list of injuries it might be worth sticking a hard tackling man marker on him ,see if he gets injured again.
    crude but possibly effective.:p

Finished the season with the treble and I'm now in charge of Marseille. They sold all of their best players, finished two spots above the relegation zone and sacked the manager at the end of the season. Let the rebuilding commence. Unfortunately I cannot afford any of my Roma players and did not add in any release clauses before I left them. So it really is a case of starting from scratch. I'll post my new team when the window closes.

You should've put a release clause on Okaka. He turns into a great striker.

this depends on you're players tackling ability. those with low numbers tackle hard and get more cards. (read that in another forum)

    depends on the ref.
check which ref is taking the game.
if he is card happy ,dont tackle hard.

kiev has a crazy amount of money.
36 million in the bank and a star studded team.

    rodolfo is a great defender.
and they are beefed up with loads of strikers with electric pace.

Anybody get a great prospect from your team's youth set up? If I knew how to post pictures, I would, but I have a regen who's being considered as the next Beckenbauer. 17 and already worth 2.2 million, he's gonna be great.

    Richard Heath - Arsenal

Looks good in the U-18s, looks better in the reserves, give him a little runout at 17 in the first team and he scores something like 4 in 5 against big teams and becomes world-class, should probably be valued the highest, but isn't for whatever reason. At 18, he's worth something like 18million and that continues to rise.

in my RM franchise there is a 18 y/o DM worth 3.6 million pounds. touted as the next makelele.

    17 passing, 17 tackling, 17 decisions, 17 workrate, 20 determination.
he is good physically. 16 pace, 16 balance. 179cm(5'11), 75kg(165lbs).

i scouted him and the scout was very impressed with how he handles pressure....

    anywayz. here is his profile
