Thanks to FearM9 on the WOOSA board for this... Voting starts now, and supposedly we fans will have some sort of say in the outcome. There will be two team awards handed out beside the awarding of the regular season title: Community Service Fair Play (I'd guess NY wins this since they have the fewest cautions with 15, if WUSA.com is accurate; but Boston has one more caution and NO ejections, compared to NY's two) Now we get down to cases with the "of the year" individual accolades: MVP Offensive Player Defensive Player Goalie Coach Humanitarian Referee Rookie (new) Goal (new) 1st and 2nd Team Global XI (the fan vote?) Executive So how many of these will the Charge walk off with? I see six already. Paul
MVP and Offensive Player - Pichon (who did her wonders in LESS games than Katia took) Defensive Player - anyone on the TIMBer Line or Moore Goalie - Moore and all others tie for last Coach - Krikorian (sorry, Marcia, Marcia, Marcia...you've got to beat the Charge every once in a while, which you didn't, nor did you have to deal with as much injury as we did) Goal - Smith's 5/8 cannon v. Washington which put the Charge up 3-1. Paul
