Twice in the last few days, I have made long posts (maybe 250 words, give or take), submitted, and got "The page cannot be displayed" (cannot find server). I have tried to back out, which has worked in the past, but was unable. Subsiquently, I was not able to get back into BS for some time (both times I walked away for 30min minimum). One time I was posting in FFA, the other I was posting in my personal forum. What I have tired (in order): 1-I tired refreshing on the "The page cannot be displayed," but that didn't work. 2-I tried backing one page, but got the same message. 3-I tried skipping back 2 or 3 pages (in the most recent version of IE) and got a blank screen with no messages. 4-I tried refreshing, but got a message asking if I wasnted to continue working off line. I selected "no" and got a blank screen. 5-I opened up a second IE to make sure I was on line. 6-I tried editing the URL to just https://www.bigsoccer.com/ but remained with a blank screen. 7-I tried using my book mark, which is https://www.bigsoccer.com/ (as opposed to one of the fora or a thread). 8-I finally tried closing IE (both sessions I currently had open) and coming back to https://www.bigsoccer.com/ via my bookmark. Again I got "The page cannot be displayed" 9-Finally, I went away for about 30 minutes, came back and hit refresh - and here I am now. This has happened before, but on shorter posts. Those times, I never have a problem past #3, if it ever gets that far - usually #1 is all I need. If it is any consequence, I am using windows XP. The first time, I need to add step 8.1 which consisted of rebooting, but then had to continue on to step 9.
