MLS officials don't believe their own eyes. No red. No justice. Inexcusable stomp by Polenta should've been dealt with. Ridiculous.
I can’t think of one time VAR has gone in our favor in the last dozen games at least. It’s unbelievable. We have a .000 batting average with VAR.
Offside goal against Vancouver, would have been the winner. Of course we later gave up the winner, but that's not VAR's fault.
I'm surprised the Gals haven't found net (yet). They are getting plenty of looks and the Rapids aren't helping the matter by missed clearances. The Rapids can't buy a goal. Too many missed opportunities. Fischer called the first half too loosely. I fear he will go full Mr. Henry Hyde on everyone in the second half. Price's set pieces aren't pretty. The one he launched into nowhere somehow is reassuringly vintage Rapids. Yecccch.
On a positive note, the new Rapids look much quicker than the old Rapids. Lewis has some wheels. The Rapids haven't been dominated in the midfield like most of the earlier matches. Rosenberry's clearance is the play of the match so far. Agreed on all upthread comments on Polenta.
Thru 45: Getting outplayed but didn't concede. Lewis needed to be calmer on that chance Kamara not getting enough touches Abubakar making a difference in our D
What was that from Wynne? Tries to play a ball that would have been ours and gives a throw-in to LA? He's just not MLS quality. No sense of what's happening in the match
Karmara got a pass in a good spot edge of the box but went for a backheel pass instead. He could have had a decent shot out of that.
As weak as he is, I don't know who we have that's better in that spot. I think Vines will develop with time so I'd play him if it were my call.
How is it still 0-0? I guess the Galaxy don't have much in the way of finishers without Zlatan and we've blown 2 real good chances
Nicholson and Lewis have been constantly dangerous throughout the entire match. Great chance from Nicholson and great ball from Price. Not sure what formation we’ll eventually land on but hope Nicholson and Lewis are both in it.
Nicholson's the same player he was last season. Good effort, good speed, no end product. Cole Bassett has as many Rapids goals as Nicholson does. Now, with the players we have at this point, I'd probably start both of them too, but we need to improve there to score more. Hope he proves me wrong.
