Corey had me at: "Here's a game ball for you, and let me give you a thumbs up as I jog away", so leave him alone or I'll start a Corey Ashe Facts Thread I know this feels like we let two points get away and we didn't play our best of games. but I'm still proud of my team and especially Corey Ashe !!! Lay off the kid's back !!
Have you seen the game yet on tape? My God, you were on there a million times. I hope that was your beautiful wife sitting next to you or you might have some splaining to do !!!! It is only a matter of time before Bandido signs a contract with Amigo Energy. Mark my words. Amigo Energy, are you listening? Bandido is Amigo Energy !!!
Some post-gamery: Houston Chronicle: Dynamo left fit to be tied at home against Columbus Columbus Dispatch: Crew wrap-up
I mean wait a minute. That wasn't you. I was drunk. I mistook someone for you. You were clearly not at the game. (will she buy that?)
One funny thing about the game, Diesel came by 213 and started blowing kisses to us girls in the front row (aw, how sweet). He then started dancing along to our "He's blind, he's deaf, we hate the fking ref!" chant. Scandalous.
I am not pissed that we were missing Ching. I am pissed that we play a piss poor game, can't score twice while up a man and all people ask is 'where is brian ching?'
I agree. Remember June and July when the team went undefeated in 10 games? Many of those were without Ching. I don't see this as a team "built around Brian Ching", I see it as a team built around a team concept, both defensively and offensively. The rest of the guys need to get it done, and they did not do it last night. The disturbing thing is that in the last 6 MLS matches, the Dynamo have only won one of them. They played well in Superliga, but for the past month and a half, not so well in league play. The team really needs to figure things out and get back on track before playoffs, as one bad game in playoffs can be the end of the season.
Guess I'm glad the baby sitter no-showed us and had to end up watching on TV. (Hey Bandido, did anyone tell you you've got a great face for radio !! ) Off game for the Dynamo and I think we were lucky to come away with a draw. Ashe started poorly but started very well the 2nd half by whipping in two dangerous crosses. We possessed the ball quite a bit more but had nothing to show for it. Need some players to get healthy.
What we need is a way to make the ball find the back of the net. I guess that sounds easier than it is. (At least that one Columbus shot that seemed to actually hit the back of the crossbar before bouncing out didn't find the back of the net. Guess it works both ways.) On a side note, I haven't been posting much since I've had to go back to work/school this week and it's been a beeeeatch. But has anybody else noticed that Rickker has mellowed to the max??? He's like "yea, well, we lost, but that happens. We'll win again...." I think I'm likin' the new Rickker.
Actually, I had noticed. I was wondering who on here had finally figured out who he is and where he lives, and then killed him, and subsequently took his place...
Well, I woulda liked a W, but I'll take the draw. Especially considering we're currently the walking wounded. We need to get some guys back soon and into match fitness for play-offs. It'd be nice to win the Supporter's Shield, but I'll settle for the Cup.
I thought someone had hacked his account and changed the password and was posting as the new Rickker20.
Art Vandaley's life time live Dynamo Record 0 Wins 2 Loses 3 Ties For $5 I will stand next to your worst enemy.
You may be on to something. Last year I went to a 1-1 draw at Columbus and the first round loss to Chivas. Then of course we have the two ties and a loss at Dallas. Thank goodness we had so many Houston fans at MLS Cup that it counted as a home game!
I'm confused on the offside rule. If it's up to the ref when to stop play for injuries, how is it offsides if he decides not to stop play for the "injured" player?
