tRR has a reasonable good game. Viva needs glasses to see down the line to keep on side and see perfect passes coming in. Annor needs to go to pre-school to learn colors. Gavin getting hurt early hurt all game. Over all --YUK
Well, James and Marshall were damn good. Too bad the attack was dismal. The team's loathing for Mendoza is obvious. And I think it's mutual.
Mendoza- Not as bad as the Internet fans are making it sound, but still pretty bad. Tommy- Are you fist-f*cking me? Can you be ANY more unproductive than him? Gherig- Shouldn't be on field. tRR- One of Crew's better players tonight. Seba or Chad for Crew MOTM if I had to choose. We NEED Tchani for our pitiful midfield and Renteria back for our pitiful strikers.
Married w/ child. So, sorry, he's taken. We showed our youth tonight. When the number of rookies kept going up, the passing and possession went down. Nothing you can do about that first goal really. That was beautiful and it will be up Monday for GOTW. Second goal, I kind of question Hesmer coming that far out but understand it some. No PK call for Mendoffsida. Colorado players running into the back of Crew players and getting the foul. Linesman yelling at our players. Awesome but not the reason we lost (just a contributing factor). Heinemann and Mendoffsida are just not a good pairing up top. Understand it was necessary for us to do with injuries and such but I really hope we go out for another striker in the next 10 days.
I think the second part is skewing your perspective on the first part. Mendoza was bad, it was just that The Wolfman's Brother was even worse.
Is it wrong for me to be glad that the Air Force kept me from driving the 6 hours to Denver and instead I spent my evening kicked back sitting on my scoot in a parking lot with 30 other scoots watching The Who's Quadrophenia being projected on the side of a building, beer in hand?
That is so right. Now pop some blues and get on the 5:15. It's not like you missed a shot on goal or anything.
This team needs to find a striker. Mendoza's movement is just godawful. He just stands in the middle of the defense and hopes for the ball to eventually drop on his foot with 10 yards of space so he can fire a shot at the keeper with hope that it goes in.
The game was lost in the center. Ekpo had an off night and the center mids were not effective. And the Crew DP was poor.
I don't know if Ekpo had an off night... it seemed like Robert was having him sit more defensively to counter the speed of Nyassi and Cummings. And so that took away his more offensive (as in attacking, not awful) aspects of the game.
How far away is Balchan from coming back not that I think he would have necessarily changed the game but he gives ekpo a little more freedom.
You're right, we had to put Gehrig in. Not, you know, an offensive-minded player to push for the equalizer.
