Several times I have seemingly logged in and proceeded to type a post. However, when I go to send the post, the site tells me I'm not logged in, and I have to enter my information again. Well, this wouldn't be a big problem, only if the posts I had previously typed hadn't gotten erased. And in several cases they were very long. So I feel live I have wasted my time. What I'm requesting is that big soccer have some sort of automatic save function where people could use the back button on their toolbar and the information will still be there. I post on ESPN and one good thing about their system is if I go back, my post won't have disappeared. Please relieve my frustration with an explanation of or solution to the problem.
Are you perhaps on AOL? If so, try launching IE outside of AOL. Our system should remember your post for at least 10 minutes.
I think there is also a setting in IE where you can tell it to not refresh every page view. I don't lose something I typed unless I refresh the page or if I close the browser. If you have to log on, you might copy what you typed into your clipboard and paste it again after you are logged in - or cut and paste it temporarily into Word - or open a new window in your browser and leave what you typed there until you need it again.
