that term doesn't make sense. 35th most populated country in a world of 160+
750-800M latinos approx. 1.4B whites 1.4 B Chinese about 2B Hindu/Malay/Indonesian type. Another near billion in Arabic/near east/ persian and Stan types

the term only has meaning in large conglomerations where multi-ethnic people live together.
mexicans can qualify in san Francisco. Not in Guadalajara... ffs........

that comment was the essence of the pointless drivel one hears on Fox News, etc

To be fair, fascism and nazism are likely still minorities (though I can’t tell anymore) so maybe it’s true.

I can think of a few nations (w/ kings & such) across the Pond that spread slavery around the globe, long before these "most racist countries" existed in the present-day Americas...

BTW, the first & only public march of the Klu Klux Klan I've ever witnessed...Montgomery County, Maryland.

    They’ll Win it eventually.

    Germany lost the 2002 Final,a tense 2006 WC semifinal,Euro 2008 Final,WC 10 semifinal(both to Spain) and the Euro 2012 semis…The Golden generation of Lahm,Neuer,Schweinstieger,&
Co were called serial chokers and annihilated by the German press and it culminated with the Bayern core throwing away a CL final at home to Chelsea.

Then it shifted and All the Tears and the Choker tag was thrown out with the CL win in 13 and the WC 2014 in Brazil.

They were as nearly men as the English but finally got over the Line

I see a parallel and I’m pretty sure they’ll conquer themselves and see it out eventually

This was an awful loss. Chelsea were shit and Drogba got that winning goal. Chelsea consider it among their finest achievements.

I would say their finest achievement was selling us Mo Salah. :)

I've done a lot of business travel to Argentina during my corporate career, and the Peronists tend to be very jingoistic but overall a society that is a vibrant combination of Italian and Spanish influences. Oh yeah and the wine is great. Argentina is the South American equivalent of Texas - everything Argentine is bigger and better. Except Messi - he's just better.

Slavery and racism are somewhat different entities.

Just as a general point - you don;t have to believe in even the concept of slavery to be a serious racist (I don't mean the type that just offends the feelings of the most touchy-feely - I mean the people who think it's okay that brianna taylor got a bullet int he head or that Haaitians eat dogs and therefore should be deported)

Some Argentinians probably feel that Paraguyans/Bolivians do the equivalent of dog-eating and should be looked down upon/victimized to some degree......

it's all a bit overblown - England had very good teams through 86 - - 88 -90 - euro 92 96 - WC 98 - and 200, 02 , o4 and 06........ But because they all failed a circus began around that end period and since them, there' salways been as much waiting to fail, and inherently knowing it, as the actual failing. But I only class this as a period from 2010 and the Lampard bounce and the Wags in the prior tournament (all of which which really began the circus)

They had the same flag back in 1982. Except back then there were no words on it.

A terrible, terrible war (are there any good ones?). The inspiration for Knopfler's "Brothers in Arms".

This morning, I watched your U-20 squad lose to NZ in the Match for 3rd Place of the World Championship, 26-41. But the contest stayed close well into the second half. England has some very impressive talent to watch in the coming years.

My U-20 squad? I’m English now, am I?

If you’re going to try to run with the big dogs, best you learn to walk with the small ones first.
