I think that this era will be the favorite for @crzdcolombian ...............

retire players of the NT after the wc:

    Yepes
    Perea
    Mosquera
Mondragon (i bet that yes :))
    Soto
    Aldo leao

Players that if pekerman doesnt continue, they wont be called probably anymore

Teo (he will lost his spot, with montero, osorio, duvan with more experience in europe)

Macnelly ( he has possibilities, if he comeback to competitive football.... by the way he have been an important player for pinto, osorio and rueda....)

Valdez ( he isnt the best player in that position of fpc)

Valencia (he is injury prone, y ademas esta betado)

    Darwin....

Only 11 spots, 4 from starters.......the team, will stay very similar to this one in the starting team ( falcao, ospina, zuñiga, james, guarin, cuadrado are still young)

new players at least for copa america 2015 chile:

New players that should be called in the new defense:

    Franco
    Alvarez Balanta
    Murillo
    Bonilla cristian
    Medina (with more experience)
    Roa
    Alcatraz
noboa (leon mexico, 2007 rb u20)

    In the midfield:

    Fernando Cuellar
    Andres Andrade
    Ibarbo
    Ortega
MOntoya (i dont know if he is good enough .....)
    celis
    Elkin Blanco

    In the forward zone:

    Duvan Zapata
    Osorio Botello
bryan perea- borja-cordoba (3 in europe, at least one have to be succesfull)
Montero...( i think that he has chances for this process)
    Jose Erick Correa

I woulf like to prove this team....as colombia b

    ---------------------Vargas--------------------

    ---Medina--------Balanta----Franco(murillo)----Roa-----

    ----------------Cuellar---------Mejia------------

    -------Ibarbo (striker)---------Ortega-------------Quintero------

    ----------------------Zapata/ osorio botello)------------

    Copa america team:

    pekerman/rueda

    ------------------Ospina-----------------

    ---Cuadrado/zuñiga-----Zapata/medina---Balanta/franco-----Zuñiga/armero---

    ----------------Mejia (sanchez)------Aguilar-----------

    --------Muriel---------Quintero (Guarin)--------James----

    -----------------Falcao (c)------------

    Osorio:

    --------------------------------Ospina--------------------

    --------Franco(medina)------Zapata--------Balanta (murillo)------

    -------Cuadrado---------------Mejia(sanchez)----------------------Zuñiga------

    ------------------------Guarin(quintero)-----------James(ibarbo)---------------------

    -------------------------Falcao (c)------------muriel-------------------------

    with 3 strikers:

    ------------------------Ospina-------------------

    Zuñiga-----------Murillo--------Franco-------Armero------

    ------------Quintero(ibarbo)------Aguilar--------James---------

    ------------------Muriel (ibarbo)-------Falcao------Bacca--------

In conclusion.....the new players, will only have place in the bench initially, at least the ofensive ones............

Regardless of what happens no 3 in the back. Even a 27 year old Yepes-Cordoba-Perea wouldn't work with 3 in the back

Regardless of who is our coach and if we win the World Cup(thinking yes with a bit if luck!). I still want to win another Copa America. Falcao deserves a trophy in yellow. Hell he deserves as many as we can give him. Say what you want about el Pibe but Falcao is our greatest player ever or at least until Quintero/James hit their prime

Not sure at all. I don't know how he use d to play in the past, but Osorio in Nacional always used a 4-3-2-1 or 4-2-3-1 formation, something like 90% of last tournament. We only played one time with 3 CB's vs. Cali away and it wss a disaster. He returned to 3 CB's in the last cuadrangulares when we didn't have nothing to lose and this formation proved itself very well, formation that he obviously continues to use at the moment. So right now his team does great with 3 CB's, but it all depends also with the players you have and I'm not sure that it'll be his formation with the NT.

no reason why we can't play with 3 in the back. We have box to box midfielders that can play dual roles in the team. I just think past DT were just not equipped to use such tactics on the field. Plus, in the next 3-4 years we will likely develop at least 3-4 players that will blossom. These are players that aren't even on our radar yet.

much of them were u-20 and used in micro ciclos of pekerman (correa, franco, cuellar, osorio botello) .....it is strange, that players from u-20 werent used in youth NT Team

What do you think? Of course 3 in the back will give our wing backs to attack much more without fear because they have on more player to back them up.

What of Jherson Vergara? I am sure he'll get involved with the senior squad soon. And I am sure that Sebastian Perez will get a bit of better lucky by January and get into a decent European club. Especially after Wenger praised him and tends to continue monitoring him.

Odd that they didn't put him on loan unless they were trying to actually use him. Is he still recovering from that shoulder injury?

I am sure that he'll do fine, but he's taking time to adapt since he is new overall to top tier football like this aside playing for the U-20 international level.

The fact that they look like they're on steroids despite how young most of them are, tells me otherwise...seriously, I am starting to get more scared of this team than Germany.
